  1. Majority will be fine. Some might ask to see a match ticket. Imagine they’ll all be fairly rammed though.

    Safe standing

A 50% discount on your ticket for a couple of seasons should quell most of the discontent I would think.
  3. Only word of warning to that is that at the minute the forecast looks a bit iffy for the Saturday (still early yet like). Not sure Trafalgar Square will be particularly popular if it’s raining…
  4. The only game I can ever recall leaving properly early (as in before injury time). Just been looking back to try and work out how early it was. I reckon it might have been when Borini scored the fifth. It was 0-6 and we were down to 10 men by the time I reached Barrack Road.
  5. Don’t think you’re giving them, him, or Howe, enough credit tbh
  6. It’s only one journo, and you shouldn’t really tar everyone associated with the club off the back of it, but the arrogance seeping out of this article is quite something: https://www.manchestereveningnews.co.uk/sport/football/man-united-takeover-qatari-news-26261497

Gateshead must have been a MLF stronghold pre-92
  8. Someone mentioned further back in the thread that there’s had a ‘C’ handwritten on.
  9. I’d imagine Man Utd have already got something set up, an app or whatever, whereby fans receive all their tickets directly to that. Whereas we obviously haven’t and it would have been madness to try and implement something within three weeks
  10. YouTuber type. Best not to delve any further or you’ll likely become exasperated.
  11. Yeah. I was actually half thinking of not drinking before the game, to be absolutely sure of taking everything in, and not having any hazy memories (until after the game…). I’ll probably allow myself 3 or 4 though, as that’s all part of the experience as well.
  12. Good to know our national stadium uses the latest cutting edge technology for its ticketing ??
  13. I’m a bit torn on what time to go in. Part of me wants to feel the build up in a fan park or somewhere, getting more and more raucous as kick off approaches, but part of me wants to be inside the stadium, savouring everything like warm ups and stuff. This has been a long time coming.
  14. Not forced as such, as I think you can opt out (believe the Glazers did make it compulsory at one point, but it’s since been changed). However, if you do opt out, you’re down the pecking order in situations like this.
  15. So at a rough guess that’s probably about 800/900 tickets spread across p5, p6 and p7. Incredibly lucky if you’ve managed to get one from anywhere in there.
  16. The entry time thing will just be to try and stop everyone from turning up 20 mins before ko. Absolutely no way you get refused entry if you turn up outside of that time.
  17. Will 100% happen next season now. However, suspect it will ease off when people get sick of shelling out a few 20 quids a season when we don’t make another final for 2/3 years
  18. When you say ‘senior’, do you mean adult or OAP? As if it’s OAP, that’s a concession just the same as a junior. So would assume going through the turnstile (if it’s like SJP) it would just flash the same colour for all types of concessions? Even if he was unlucky enough to be randomly checked, I reckon as long as you knew the name and address that the ticket was registered to, it would probably be fine.
  19. That day being the 25th of Never hopefully given the inevitable way it descended every single time in the past…
