Will have to watch it back, but his little bit of skill and quick feet seemed pivotal for the goal. Just gave Maxi a half yard extra of space when receiving the pass, which he then used well, and we score from it.

No, it’s not a disingenuous argument because I’m responding to the claim that his sale has already cost us points. Which IMO, it hasn’t. If you want to argue that it may do going forward, fair do’s, I wouldn’t argue. But you can’t really say it has already.

Shelvey played half an hour for Forest today. His first minutes since we sold him. So unless you think him coming on for us for half an hour today would have won us the match, selling him has cost us zero points so far.

All these arrivals from the four corners of the globe definitely need chronicling in a thread on final week. Mad to think that in less than 18 months we’ve gone from a club where people often didn’t even want to turn the TV on to watch us, to a club where people are prepared to fly half way round the world for a match they won’t even be attending.

Agree to a point, but the club could have just made it sufficiently clear in the first place like.
