I don’t think it was a “straight shootout” as such. I think if you were in p4 you had a far greater chance of a ticket than if in p7, for example. Appreciate that’s absolutely fuck all consolation if you’ve missed out in p4 and you’re seeing someone in p7 that’s got one like.

It’s not that high, but you’re overall point that if you haven’t got any, it’s very difficult/impossible to start, is fair. I do think it’ll start to become more accessible again in time (even without any changes to how things work), but it’s gonna take a while.

Yep, echo this. Very difficult to look on the positive side if you’ve just missed out, especially if you’re a ST holder, but maybe (and admittedly this is based on nothing) you would get bumped up the priority list if we reach another one sometime soon ??‍♂️

They didn’t really advise as such. The club contacted them with the criteria a few days before the announcement and asked for their observations. From what they’ve said, they didn’t contribute to any meaningful changes to what was eventually put out.

Yeah, the stuff the Trust put out said there’s be tickets for every group. Numbers unknown.

Will have to watch it back, but his little bit of skill and quick feet seemed pivotal for the goal. Just gave Maxi a half yard extra of space when receiving the pass, which he then used well, and we score from it.

No, it’s not a disingenuous argument because I’m responding to the claim that his sale has already cost us points. Which IMO, it hasn’t. If you want to argue that it may do going forward, fair do’s, I wouldn’t argue. But you can’t really say it has already.
