  1. Going off this, the no alcohol zone around Wembley is 3:30pm - 4:15pm. I’d imagine the vast majority will have made their way to the stadium by then
  2. Tbf he sounds like he knows what he’s doing, and he’s covered his arse. Made it clear in the description what he’s selling, and hasn’t directly tried to sell the actual ticket above FV (although clearly hinting at that). Be surprised if eBay or the club could do anything really.
  3. If that’s right then everyone in p6 and p7 is fucked and I would hold very little hope for p5
  4. I think you’re more likely to get one that not, but lot of unknowns that could have an effect.

Away fans - welcome to Gallowgate Level 8.
  6. Good luck to everyone in p3. Certain you’ll all get tickets, just hope you all get to sit with your family/mates.
  7. Might be cool to have a thread the week of the game, charting folk’s travels, be it down to London or to Newcastle, or wherever. Sounds like we’ve got folk on here making trips from everywhere. Think it would help build things up nicely if we got mini updates from, airports, train stations, motorways etc. Bit of RTG-tastic ’Mag on/in/at a’
  8. Yeah. Which means the allocation for the clubs could actually have been even less than it is now, had they been bought as CW.
  9. But you’re getting into intangibles then. Every club is going to have some kind of metric to measure who gets tickets when demand outstrips supply. Sometimes it’s shit for people, and maybe the use of language like ‘deserves’ isn’t always fair, but you can’t expect a club to take into account every possible life scenario that might have prevented someone from actively (in measurable terms) supporting the club for a period of time.
  10. Valid point. Worth asking the Box Office the question of if you do that, could 2 of the 6 be successful or would it have to be all 6? Bit of a tricky one as I guess there’s no point in juniors being successful without a relevant adult. Probably does need clarified.
  11. Difficult to say without going in to every single section. The ones by the halfway line that are completely gone look like they hold about 700ish. As @LFEEsays some at the top are virtually completely free. Bit of guess, but definitely less than 10k gone. Probably closer to 5k. If I get really, really bored later I might try and do a proper count.
  12. Just as an aside, if you zoom in you can see 31-44 is the standing area and the rest is seating. I think about 20-28 didn’t go on sale, so presumably staff/corporate ones held back by the club.
  13. I dunno. I understand that a random ballot strips out any question of bias, but is that right in itself? If you’ve got someone who’s been to every game for the last 20 years, surely they deserve some bias over someone who’s been to a couple of games? You can go on forever like and never come to a completely satisfactory conclusion.
  14. Not sure there’s really any difference to yesterday? Although we knew today’s numbers would be small
  15. Yeah, it is difficult to counter that argument. Suppose the only possible way of looking at it favourably (and not saying I agree) is that they’re endeavouring to give a (presumably) very small chance to those outside of a cohort which, at least in recent times, they don’t have any chance of getting into, as ST and Memberships have sold out ??‍♂️ (perhaps they’ve been listening to @AyeDubbleYoo?)
  16. List of ‘Newcastle’ allocated pubs here: https://www.brent.gov.uk/parking-roads-and-travel/parking/wembley-event-day-parking/match-days
  17. If that’s right, it makes sense to me why they’ve done it like they have then. Can see people in p4/p5 being pissed off if they miss out and there’s a few in p6/p7 get some like.
  18. I don’t think we do know, but I’ve seen numerous people claim they’ve spoke to the box office and been led to believe this. And as I’ve said before, p6 and p7 would seem utterly pointless unless they’re holding some back, however small that amount is.
  19. Obviously you’re right, but everyone just likes that little bit of confirmation that they are where they think/know they are.
  20. Not sure this really clears much up, but useful info nonetheless: https://www.brent.gov.uk/parking-roads-and-travel/parking/wembley-event-day-parking/match-days
