Probably correct. And therefore increases the likelihood of the ‘biggest club in the world’ winning zero trophies again.

Interesting little thread that shows the fixture congestion some of the other teams (particularly Man Utd) could face. This is definitely a season for us to take advantage of circumstances… https://twitter.com/dalejohnsonespn/status/1588288713330597888?s=46&t=x87HJ_FX87T2HPr0V_Ydgw

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-11374301/Sunderland-ban-away-supporters-bringing-VAPES-COINS-Stadium-Light.html Whilst there’s clearly been some incidents, it seems bizarre that they’ve had to resort to such draconian measures. Do we have the same issues, given away fans are similarly located? I actually sit underneath the away fans, albeit quite far towards the front, so would have to be a fair chuck to reach me, and the only time I can recall an issue was, ironically, the derby game where the flare hit the disabled lad.

    Sven Botman

Did he occasionally take free kicks for Lille when they wanted someone to thunderbastard it, or have I just made that up?
  5. When everyone was celebrating Bruno ran back to the halfway line and was pointing at someone on the bench (Tindall?) as if to applaud them for coming up with the routine.
  6. Just to add to the wages discussion… might be a bit of guesswork involved in these numbers, and we’ll already have increased quite a bit given our signings in the last two windows, but shows how far away we were from CL-level teams. It’s a bit of a chicken and egg situation mind as do you pay CL-level wages to get into the CL, or vice-versa.

You would sincerely hope, and I realise the recent Chelsea-Man Utd debacle suggests otherwise, that they’ve spoken with all the relevant bodies involved before announcing/confirming the date and ko time.

Agreed. The journey to the top is always better than the status quo of being at the top. That’s not to say you can’t have brilliant days when you’re an established top team, but right now EVERY win is great. A hard-fought, not that exciting, 1-0 home win over a mid-table team like Everton won’t feel like it did last week in 5 years time I suspect. That’s why I say we really need to savour the feeling at the moment, especially if you’re lucky enough to get to games, as it won’t always be like this.

Including pictures of the two players who absolutely won’t be there ?

And you’d think the fact there’s no European games during this period would actually make things easier than has been the case for the last couple…

Communication on this issue is dreadful from all involved
  16. Palace tickets on general sale this morning. About 2k left in lower bowl, then L7 will get opened. Will be plenty to go round so good chance for non-ST holders/members to get to a game.
  17. Great to hear. Always tickets available from returns the week of the game. Just need a bit of luck in terms of being free to try and get them whenever they happen to come out.
  18. They managed to not have a single shot in the 30 mins plus that was left after they went behind to Spurs. DCL will give them a lot more potency if he’s anywhere near fit mind.
  19. The atmosphere before and for the first ten minutes. The celebration of Wilson’s was probably better than the likes of the last minute winners against Norwich and Chelsea. Obviously everything got deflated pretty quickly and the last half hour was fairly awful in some ways. Bang on about the Dier goal though. It was down the opposite end to me and i wasn’t actually sure it had gone in due to the lack of celebration from players and fans (that were left)

No, it didn’t ? Anybody’s guess now tbh. Could be tomorrow, could be another week or two ??‍♂️
  21. Probably both but definitely worth calling the box office both mornings and asking. And even if they fob you of keep checking online throughout the day
  22. In all likelihood there’ll be some tickets going on resale at the Box Office Mon/Tues. You’ll have to be quick/lucky to get some mind
