Not sure as the away club doesn’t receive any revenue (in the league) from away ticket sales, even though they actually administer the selling of them. Imagine our fans might be the last set of away fans at Chelsea though (unless tickets for a later game have already been sold)
-
You only need to look at other clubs various different ‘points’ systems to see no one system is anywhere close to perfect. However you do it there’s always ways certain people can ‘game’ it slightly to put themselves in a better position. If they were to change/alter it in some way, I guarantee within a season you would have exactly the same number of complaints, just of a slightly different nature.

You can’t tell. There might yet be one the ‘away’ blocks that goes on sale (so roughly another 500)

Demand is on it’s way back towards peak-Keegan days. Don’t even think Wolves will make general sale, that generally only ever happens with games against the mackems, Man Utd or Liverpool (unless there’s particularly attractive circumstances around another game). Wolves is effectively a run-of-the-mill league game live on TV (maybe there’s a ‘Friday night’ novelty factor) and it’s going to be sold out a month in advance.

I think they said he’s been in touch to give it back -
Looked like he’d done his hammy when he went off yesterday. Was grabbing at it and signalled to the bench that he needed to come off. Suppose it could have been cramp but didn’t look like it.
-
Expect he’ll get his start on Thursday if Willock is injured
-
Our last game in March is a week on Thursday, so obviously neither will be back by then.
-
Looked like Willock damaged his hamstring yesterday so would be surprised if he started. Bruno time….

Yes, ‘we’ the club do, but ‘we’ the fans probably don’t.

I much as I agree with this, one of the things we need to be doing if we’re to become the well-run, well-functioning club we all hope, is to always have a list of potential managerial replacements lined up. You never know when something can go tits up professionally or personally with any manager, so you’ve always got be ahead of the game in being ready with your replacement. We were a million miles away from this approach under Ashley, but I’m confident with Ashworth coming in, we’ll be on it. You only have to look at Man United since Ferguson to see how much damage a cack-handed approach to this does.

This is an interesting point, as we‘re already seeing to a degree with away tickets. We got 1700 for Brentford today, but approx 1300-1400 went on sale after corporates had took their whack. Was somewhere in the region of 500 out of 2600 for Leeds. Corporate fans are obviously not to be dismissed, especially in relation to FFP, and sponsorship, but it has to managed.

Are they not still doing the free cancellation thing they introduced post CoVID?

After this game we’ve got a run 4 games in 12 days (possibly 5 in 15) so he’ll definitely get a start in there, even if the other midfielders continue to do well. Howe more or less said as much in his last press conference.

Having read what @Gashead 73 and others have been saying in the Elliot Anderson thread, there’s some potentially appealing odds knocking about for Bristol Rovers. They’re 5/1 to make the playoffs (various) and 22/1 to win them (Paddy). Might also be some value in them tomorrow night as they’re playing Orient who haven’t won in 9, scoring only 2 in that time. BR 11/5 to win (various) and 9/2 to win to Nil (365) Edit - oh and EA is 40/1 with Sky to score twice tomorrow

Results suggest otherwise. Obviously our resurgence isn’t just, or anywhere close to just, being down to having him in the team. But in the absence of Wilson, it was vital that we had a competent focal point, and he is at least that, regardless of what we paid for him.
-
No idea. But even just preventing the opposition CB from easily winning everything is not to be underestimated
-
In his first two games (haven’t looked since) he won the most headers of anyone in the league. Sounds insignificant but it definitely helps us get further up the pitch.
-
Jesus Christ. I know all these fan cam things are basically set up to attract the ‘characters’/weirdos in any fan base, but the last two fellas that are on are clearly on some kind of spectrum.

61 passes today. God knows the last time one of our centre backs made that many in an away PL game? Probably we’ll before we got relegated.
-
It has been. They’ll likely change it on the site next week when they’ve got a few returns to put back on sale.

Seen a couple of people on Twitter saying they have received the email from the club and their monthly ST DD will actually be going down for next season. Seems unlikely but ??♂️
