Tbh, although clubs could clearly be doing more (and assuming they arenât all as dodgily connected to it as Chelsea) theyâll only ever be adding temporary inconveniences to the touts (barring something drastic like facial recognition). Really it needs governmental intervention to crack down on these reselling sites. Clearly as theyâre all based in foreign countries, it would be a significant undertaking, and it would take time. But as weâve seen with the recent restrictions introduced to porn sites (so Iâm toldâŚ), if thereâs enough political will, these things get done. Would a government (of any political persuasion) be bothered enough to get involved with this? Unless the pressure from public opinion became significantly greater, I doubt it.

Well, yes, every player clearly has some level of valuation that you will sell for. But Iâd suggest actively negotiating with another club sends out far more âplayer for saleâ vibes, than simply saying âthis is his valuation, donât bother coming back unless youâre meeting itâ.
-
Wolves insist heâs not for sale but have resumed talks. Make your mind up lads.
-
So hardest draw possible is probably someone like Brighton/Fulham/Everton away?
-
Look forward to looking down upon the Bowl 2 peasants.

Tbf their first choice striker is arguably the best in the world, so itâs not really the biggest negative.
-
Does he ONLY want to join Newcastle United though?

Kairat Almaty will be flush with cash now.
-
Hopefully get Almaty at home. Credit to them for their determination and game plan, but ability-wise theyâre miles off it. Having said that I donât think anyone at the club could be arsed with the chow on of having to play them away.
-
Theyâd need to buy a lot of tickets and do a lot of cancelling to put much of a dent in them when theyâre knocking out every ticket for hundreds of pounds.
-
Worthless selling the womenâs team until they get into the WSL.
-
Yeah, a new stadium with vastly better infrastructure would probably be the point that it would be introduced, if it were to be.
-
That may well be true, but touting is of no benefit to the club, as they arenât the ones receiving the extortionate fees. If the club know the demand is there to sustain ticket prices at this inflated level, Iâm sure they want to be the ones benefiting from it, as opposed to these organised touting groups.

As @Kilcline mentioned earlier, facial recognition for entry is coming, whether people like it or not. Iâm interested to know peopleâs thoughts. On one hand itâs an intrusion of civil liberties, has the potential to be a right fuck on, and seems an all round draconian measure. On the other hand it should make it significantly more difficult to tout. Canât see how third party resellers would get round it tbh?
-
Think you can only get a maximum of two teams from the same country.
-
Sadly, this is correct. Mr Qi Xiao will probably be part of fairly sophisticated touting operation, with multiple methods of accessing tickets. Whilst I would never say itâs a waste of time reporting them, in reality itâs probably just going to be a minor inconvenience to them.
-
Canât see how you can get banned for buying a third party ticket. Refused entry (well, obviously not now), but thatâs the worst that would happen.

Stayed behind the lads when it seemed all hope was lost.

You watching Brentford? This goes through and that sweet sweet Wissa cash has disappeared.

No @Paully pint pic from Grey St yet?

Bumping this so we can discuss whether the âWest Ham Wayâ is repeatedly getting heavily done at home in front of a half-empty stadium.
