Aye, but he’s got have youth players of sufficient starting quality to have a realistic chance of developing them. The only one you can hold against him so far is Anderson, and even then, he was forced into getting rid of him. He can’t just magically develop kids if they aren’t good enough to start with.

He’s match fit as he’s played plenty in pre-season but I’m not sure how sensible it would be to ask him to say goodbye to all his mates at his boyhood club then go expect him to play against them, especially away, 48hrs later, probably with, at best, one light training session with us.
