From conversations with the Miley family, they are definitely frustrated at his lack of game time (they express that pretty openly), but I massively doubt that they will want him to leave. The whole family are huge fans. I think it’s more likely that we see him sent out on loan if we sign another CM this summer.

That Craig Hope article sure makes for good drama, but it’s Craig Hope… I’ve witnessed first hand a number of times how economical is he with the truth (direct from the subjects he’s written about). From my interactions last summer, the bad feeling between Howe and Mitchell had been blown all out of proportion. They had some differences of opinion, but nothing that was overly drastic. As far as I’m aware, too, this Mitchell departure has everything to do with Eales leaving.

I’ve mentioned it before on here, but Willock is the only player I’ve interacted with in my role that has been unpleasant in any way. A couple of seasons ago I would have described him as rude / obnoxious, but more recently he seems to have mellowed by all accounts. I guess you can put that down to upbringing, or how different people deal with fame etc, but I guess it’s a positive that he seems to have improved his attitude.

I personally wouldn’t mind too much if he stayed for another year on an incentive based contract, providing we sign a RW who can also play ST (cough, Mbeumo, cough).

Completely disagree. To me, it showed us that we are only 3-4 good players away from a sustained stay in the top 4. We played well… would have won that game had we been more clinical, and only lost it due to a stupid error and a great strike.

I thought for the majority of that game we played well. Better team first half and should have taken our chances. And did ok after the first 15 mins of second half too. Just shows how far we’ve come. Just have to better Villa’s result, right?

Yep, but they’re super subtle on our authentic kit.
