I was at the True Faith event tonight with Caulkin, Hope, Douglas and Downie. Surprisingly good actually, and I’ve cool my dislike for Hope somewhat. A lot of fun, and some real sense talked by all of them.

I'll also be at the True Faith event tonight. For the record I don't dislike any of the local journalists really... just something about Hope really winds me up. Like he talks with far too much self-importance.

He is right to be fair. There's little achievement in winning the league with Bayern. If I was Kane, I'd be pushing heavily for a move to Spain where at least there's a bit more competition.

I'd be very very surprised. I watched a lot of him last season and for a good chunk of it I thought we'd dodged a bullet. At times he was outstanding, but he was anonymous for huge parts of games. Very passive.

I'm not getting that link at all like. Paqueta is nowhere near good enough for what Man City need, unless he's just going to warm the bench. Good player, sure. Elite... no way.

No... his style of play would mean he's more likely to be a backup RB, and an option on RW as well, in my opinion.

FFP. Get Ashby for cheap, hopefully develop him a bit over the next few years. If he turns into a good player and we sell him on for a profit, that's big in the FFP world.

I genuinely have no idea what you are talking about. The first half of the semi wasps spine tingling at times. Second half very nervy. “horrific”?

It was categorically not a poor performance at all. He did well in large spells, some tremendous first time passes. He was a bit sloppy in 2-3 occasions but other than that he had a solid - good game.

The atmospheres at the quarter and semi finals last year were brilliant

I just don’t see that, to be honest. Almiron was one of our stand out performers for half of last season. Murphy played really well when called upon. We also have Gordon who can play there. RB and RCB are priorities IMO. The rest can wait.

Well that's a bit over the top, surely. I completely understand the reasons that people are upset, but it seems relatively unnecessary to get so emotional about something that will likely be fixed in the coming weeks. I highly doubt that any of this was premeditated. It seems on the surface to me to be an error of judgement, not malicious. It'll be dealt with.
