We're definitely not playing him in the correct position, but he really needs to sort his decision making out. It's fucking shite too often. He'll create himself some space with good feet & bursts of pace and then do absolutely nothing when presented the opportunity and followed by giving it away. Really need to see more from him imo. I'd argue Muto uses the ball better in terms of finding space, playing the pass that's on and moving forward.

We've been dire here. Can't maintain possession for more than 3 seconds. Almiron & Atsu decision making so so poor, Joelinton lost, nothing in the middle of the pitch. We're hard to watch. Can only look at the manager however, as these are professional footballers who are capable of so much more than this with the correct instruction.

I'm not so sure - Maddison has talent but he's overrated. Incredibly hit and miss player - lots of games pass him by. Harvey Barnes worries me more with his direct play - him coming up against Krafth is potential for disaster.
