Despite others doing well in his absence, and questions over Shelvey's place in the side - I still believe when he's at it, he's our best central midfielder and the prospect of him finding Almiron and Rondon in his current form is hugely exciting.

Really big fixture for us tonight, Cardiff v Watford. A Watford win, and a win for us tomorrow could prove pivotal.

Lets hope he ends up going there then, as in Rafa's whole time here, this Leicester situation and prospect of them needing a new manager in a few month is the first time I've been genuinely concerned of him leaving to go elsewhere.

A quick look at a Leicester City forum, and most are firmly against the idea of Benitez as their manager - preferring Puel, Wagner or Rodgers. Oh dear. He deserves better than Leicester, does Rafa, and part of the reason I say that, is that it would be tormenting and heartbreaking to see him go there and do inevitably wonderful things with their resources that far surpass anything we're likely to have in the foreseeable future.

Fourth one is the best angle yet that shows you’re wrong. Not too sure what Lascelles and Schar are doing there mind, Boly is obviously the target - he should have been marked tightly given there was just seconds remaining. Still gets given as a foul 9/10 imo.

Longstaff was particularly good, bossed the midfield, broke up play all game and used the ball very intelligently. He's starting to look excellent in that role. All in all the draw was probably fair as Wolves took the game to us for large periods without really threatening too much. We grew into the first half and started the second very well. Almiron looked lively, Perez showed some good touches and Ritchie had one of his better games. Dubravka was solid. Lascelles the best of the 3 centre backs, Schar was canny and assisted the goal with a nice pass, but Lejeune looked slightly off the pace to me despite making some good blocks. Yedlin I thought was poor.

Kick off set for 12pm local time at the Pinatar Arena near Murcia. Unsure if it’s a similar format to the Royal Antwerp fixture last season.
