There are some on here that are so desperate for him to prove he is genuinely a 40 million pound player that they actually can not or will not admit this player is rubbish. How many times do you want to see him play for goodness sake? I'm not trying to sound clever and so much the wise one but I had him sussed after 5 games. This bloke has NEVER or will EVER be a centre forward/number 9. A big bloke but a hopeless header of a ball, does not hold up play well at all (I can't believe some posters on here that think otherwise), does not run the channels and his movement inside the 18 yard box is non existent. He is not a goal poacher and he has no turn of speed. Do you need any more proof? He has 1 goal for God's sake!

Shola was 5 times the player than this lad!

Are you still enjoying the football KaKa? We are not safe from relegation. I hope I am wrong.

Totally agree UncleBingo. I had the pleasure of meeting you at one of our group meetings in The Labour Club. We were so passionate about our club. Sadly that passion has diminished and both my wife and I relinquished our season tickets after 30 years at the beginning of this season. What was most shocking and sad was the fact our own supporters treated us with disdain. We asked for a few minutes delay to enter our seats prior to the West Ham game. The abuse we took from our fellow supporters broke the camels back for me. I am not name calling all our fans but I somehow feel vindicated that they are witnessing some of the worst orchestrated and poorly run club affairs that I have ever seen witnessed. Let them eat cake!

There are not three teams worse than this bunch. Thank god we have25 points. Scramble another 3/4 wins and we may just make it. This is awful!

Worrying times and the signs aren't good. A better performance than in recent times yet still beaten. Other teams below us are also picking up points and showing good form. I just hope we can stumble to another 10/12 points because this team are not capable of dominating the opposition. When you look at the team's we are relying on staying in the bottom 3 then it does not bode well. Norwich wiped the floor with us as did Villa. Watford were robbed at our place. I fear the worst. However Kaka was entertained by a fantastic game today! (winky face).

That wasn't aimed at you Frank.

Sean, you are bang on with this. I recently gave up my season ticket after 30 years. I would NEVER want a Toon defeat under any circumstances. However, when I see quotes on here saying Joelinton having a cracking game and that this game is fantastic, well I'm just not having it. So because you gave up your season ticket you have to now pretend the team is always bad? You are embarrassing man Why watch the games and log on here then? Cringe worthy stuff. Stop being silly. I actually said the team are playing better. In your desperation for the team to do well you are imagining them being fantastic. They aren't, they are doing ok. I appear to be the realist here and you the fantasies. Come on Toons!

Some of you are so immature and childish. Just because you don't like the manager you just create scenarios in your head. Even the panel on Sky have been loving the game. It has been a good game. This is just pathetic. The game has been ok in my opinion and we do look better. However your over the top FANTASTIC quote was silly.

I also think the free kick Everton were given prior to the goal was nonsense. It could very easily have been given in our favour. Watch it again, Miggy does nothing wrong whereas Baines nearly decapitates him.
-
Exactly this.

And according to Kaka it's been a fantastic game! Jesus!

Can't praise him when we've won either by that logic, as the opposition missed chances etc. Bruce is shit, always has been, always will be. A bit of luck and/or a good spell will not change that. Are we allowed to chastise him after a defeat? Because the Bruce sympathisers love to ram it down the throats of the sensibe people that really know what's going on. This team are crap! I couldn't care less what league says, we will be bottom six not top six by the end of the season.

I think similar although I don't think he's totally shite. However, it astounds me that he is an England international.

I still have the original plans somewhere in my house. I shall try and find them. I attended an "Open Day" whereupon the Newcastle board showed animated pictures of how the stadium would look. It was all rather magnificent if I remember correctly. I was all for it at the time. Too late now.

Exactly what Ashley wants, turn the fans against each other. Divide and conquer. Newcastle are united in name only Exactly this, Ashley has taken a leaf out the Conservative book. Let them fight among themselves!

Could be This isn't where I read it, but confirms what I thought I remembered: https://www.coachesvoice.com/robbie-elliott-sir-bobby-robson-newcastle-england-barcelona/ I'm no football coach but watch our team when we have a throw in. Totally clueless, all we do is give the opposition the ball.

Whilst I completely get where you are coming from I wouldn’t say it’s completely gone. I still go with the same people I’ve gone with for a few years and I still enjoy going, the football is dire at the moment but I guess one day Ashley will be gone. Still get a buzz when we win and still feel connected. Things could be a lot worse Hope you get better as well, remember your postings in the past Ashley will never leave of his own free will when he can pull a stunt like this - 3 months into a boycott - with literally thousands of fans lapping it up. Perhaps we were just beginning to make him think twice? Not now. Guess who wins again! There’s genuinely every possibility that he could be here until his death. It’s a guaranteed money machine. I can’t believe I’m in a minority of fans that understand the potential of NOT going. I know what the potential of the club is if people still go. Nothing. Nowhere. Until it’s too late and we become a footnote in the history of English football. I do see the viewpoint of not going, I just don’t agree with it myself. I don’t think he’s any more likely to go/ not go either way. Will go when someone pays over the odds, think it could happen any time regardless of what the fans are doing to protest As I said I don’t agree not going makes him more likely to sell so I’m happy to keep going as I love going to the game This is genuinely horrific. It is on second viewing - it’s not just about loving going to the game it’s literally inside me - rather than vilifying me for it maybe take some understanding I can’t mate, I’m sorry. I think you’re part of the wider problem. Complicit even. And there are 40,000 of these people (not fans in my eyes). What has this owner got to do to hurt you even more than he has?

This is unbelievable. That's exactly how I feel. Maybe we are more intelligent than Ashley/Tories think we are.
