They get most their info directly from the cloob man. Some of it will be propaganda mind. It's a local newspaper, of course they create most of their breaking news content from news agency reporting. This is exactly right it’s from the club and agents. Also Calkuin remember was one of the ones that came out with this improved £300 million bid then back tracked on it. He is being used in a very clever game by very clever people.

Notice the Chronicle said that company was nothing to do with Newcastle at the moment. They like to make sure they are covered for all eventualities. Also I fucking hate Ashley horrible fat bastard.

2 points on his tweet. Firstly didn’t the previous Man City owner own them outright so why create a holding company then? Secondly yes there are no shares at the moment but if Staveley is an investor with someone else richer they will each own a percentage of the club therefore shares.

I would also like to point out who do you think their sources close to Staveley are?? Until recently they had never had contact with anyone to do with her. Most of their contacts are built over years so the contact can trust them and they can trust the contact. Anyone they will have spoken to in regards to Staveleys side of the bid will not have direct involvement in any talks or part of the group as NDA’s are in play and they would loose their job. And even if they are speaking to someone close to it (which I doubt) they aren’t going to turn round and say yeah it’s all to do with the takeover. My guess is they know fuck all but have to write something or they will just look even more incompetent. So they go the line with the best damage limitation. Deny it’s got anything to do with it as when it turns out it has they can just say things changed in the last 24hrs. If they said it was true and then it wasn’t they would have caused mass hysteria and really will have lost however still buys the chronicle for nufc crack.

Why would A. Staveleys apparent people tell Chris Waugh from the Chronicle that’s it’s imminent. B. Why would the premier league tell them if the fit and proper persons test had started yet. If they started mouthing off to the press about every fit and proper persons test which may or may not get passed they would probably get sued.

Also, Wraith seems to be retweeting anything with a negative spin. He's gonna be gutted if/when it actually happens, after his doom-mongering in December is (hopefully) proven wrong. The man is a fucking clampit.

IF this is true i'd imagine the BBC would be her first proper interview, but you'd imagine the announcement of a sale would be beforehand so the BBC could let people know she'll be giving an interview. I suppose so. Also with it being a FA Cup weekend I suppose it makes sense to use the BBC for your first interview.

I think it will be Sky Sports and it will be due to them having their noses put out of joint if the thing about the BBC getting the first interviews are true. Sky won’t be happy and might announce something before the BBC out of spite.

The only positive is that the kit man at Newcastle reckons it's done so out of anyone you you'll think he would know the inner workings of a takeover deal for the club.

Prity sure he would be bothered about £100 million plus being wiped off any price of the club. If he wasn't that bothered he would have accepted anything he could get and would be away by now. It's all about the Benjamin's for Mr Ashley.

I agree if like many people believe the deal is already done then they need to announce it as it will give everyone a much needed boost. The next 2 weeks will show us if it's done or not. No players or underwhelming players then it's not done.
