It’s not helped by the grim reality of what this club actually is without some form of intervention? It’s almost the last straw for people who care about the club and it’s history and don’t just turn up regardless for a day with the lads. MP and Whitley WANT (sorry!) to believe this will happen after so many decades of support. I can sympathise fully. It’s the lowest I’ve felt about the club, but I’ve accepted it’s fate. Fair play to those that haven’t.

I struggle with some of the fans comprehension around this mans operating philosophy. He simply doesn’t give a shit about this club, the support or the area. it’s a money spinner to him. No more than that. He’s took his (tiny) little book of 1970’s coaching skills (no pencil notes in the margins) around every shit club he’s been to and had the exact same results and did exactly the same press conferences.
