    Joey Barton

Totally blanked out Gosling playing for us, wasn't he shite? I liked Guthrie but he was straight down the line mediocre and Barton always seemed to flatter to deceive like he was actually better then what he showed. Total cunt of a human though.

    The Title Race

Never been a fan of Liverpool but I cant help but like Klopp and I like watching Liverpool play these days. I also think it's good for the league if Man City don't win it. There is something a little bit more colder watching them steam roll threw teams, fantastic side though and this has been one of the best title races in a while.

Didn't think it would happen a couple of months ago but aye they are getting an automatic spot. The league is utter shite and the difference in quality between League One and The Championship is massive. Moreso than Championship and Premier League imo. They'll get bounced straight back down as I just can't see where the investment is coming from to stay in that league never mind battle for promotion. The owner is a chancer and will be way out of his depth in that league. Shame like.
  5. I knew that lad from school, surprisingly he was a right little irritating prick.
  6. 1: You are given a 1-0 this season, which game do you chose to win? (Has to be a league game): Liverpool away 2: You are given 1 club to be relegated from the Premier League, who do you chose?: Chelsea 3: You are given one club to win the Champions League, who do you chose? (Club has to be in the Champions League): Ajax 4: Would you rather win the Europa Leauge of the FA Cup?: Europa 5: One club to be promoted from the Championship?: Leeds 6: Who would you prefer to win the SPL, Celtic or Rangers?: Rangers 7: You are asked for 1 manager to be sacked?: Guardiola 8: A club other than the club you support to win their respective league?: Rennes

With a neutral head on I can see why they'll look forward to a Wembley weekend away on the piss after the years of freefall and dross. Being a supporter means you'd grab any chance to celebrate and have something to look forward to no matter how bleak the situation has got. But I'm not a neutral so fuck 'em the fucking doyles.

    https://www.theguardian.com/football/ng-interactive/2019/mar/05/david-squires-on-liverpool-being-blown-off-course-in-premier-league-title-race-manchester-city-cartoon Good one this week
  9. I think he'll stay but it's the hope that kills. We ain't getting rid of Ashley and it's been said a million times but if only the twat decides to speculate to accumulate ffs the future would be so much brighter it's almost painful to consider.
  10. Was feeling confident after Tuesday's win but on the day going into the game the doubt had set in. Standard defeat we'll keep getting fairly regular with our limited squad. Not much to quibble with on the result but we'll stay up this season.

    Miguel Almirón

Thought the service to him was poor and he really didn't have much to work with. He'll do well for us and will only get better.
  12. Think it would have been really nervous with a 1-goal lead mind. I didn't feel that way at all which I often get with Newcastle games. We looked fitter, tactically way smarter, solid at the back and looked good going forward.
  13. I'm not English speaking by birth so this is a serious question, not a dig. But is "fret" actually a word? Always thought it was Pardews weird way of speaking the word threat.
  14. Can see another Rafa masterclass here with us being away and the new lease of pace and purpose we have going forward. Our defence and keeper are solid, we now offer real fret in attack and have Longstaff in the middle
  15. We looked a class above and was never in doubt even if Takkawakkawoski finished that sitter I still would have felt confident of a win. They were rank just a bog standard set of hoofers and heffers. Chuffed for Longstaff, he will just keep getting better. We have some talent on our hands just hope to god Rafa stays to bring him on to the best of his abilities.
  16. Rafa isn't going to Everton. He adores and is adored by Liverpool and their rivalry with Everton isn't quite the timid family affair many assume. No way would a man of Rafa's principles break that bond. He will do all he can to stay here, but you know, Ashley
  17. They were a perfect match, like two pricks in a pod.
  18. The bastards have now got me excited to watch them play fucking Burnley man

That's wee Phillie the little fucking creep. Does the mackems pre match bantz in some of their shithole bars. Equivalent to some of the shite we've had in Sam Jacks, Vaults and Idols over the years.
  20. Herrera is a shithouse but the type of shithouse the supporters love and the opposition hate, quality player who never stops. Thought he came across really well in the interview with him and Sanchez before the game.
  21. Feel the same way. Really dislike most if not all of the Midlands sides. Always seems to be some shit against us going on with the cunts. The fans from those area's always seem to be a right set of edgy pricks too.
  22. As mentioned by myself and a few others in this thread, the players and Dubravka didn't even call for a foul at the time. You just had Lascelles shouting at him and Dubravka's face told the story afterwards. He knew he fucked up. He will learn from it, we move on chaps.

Their Xg stats (anar) have been piss poor all season even when winning so this was never going to keep up over a full season. The crowd also seem to be turning, I reckon they'll scrape playoffs but not come up.
