I have more problems with people who replay and ask for his reliability. we are so desperate this to happen it is crazy mad what we are doing.

TV rights bids don’t work like that though. Each broadcaster has to put a monetary value on it, they also have to put other aspects to it, about who it will be available too and on which platforms, also how they wish to broadcast it. Apparently Amazon got their bid approved because they included the live stats view into it. The bid deadline is the same for everyone and private. Saudi Arabia won’t be able to just put down £50m more than the other guy. How do Saudi Arabia make that bid? The current deal is at £500m, and ordinarily you would expect that to increase no more than 10%-20%, which at most puts it at £600m. Do they go all out and just double up to make sure their bid is far higher than Qatar? Would Qatar expect them to do that and just bid silly money as well? Thats why spies earn their money.

The panel in that show today were really clueless about the takeover.

He said an announcement was imminent on the 20th April. This takeover become the litmus test for even for the best in the business. I admire his sources and may be he is off on his April 20 prediction but well before that he said the club is sold.

I want Poch but if Rafa comes back I will be happy too. He earned the right when he decided to stay with us in May 2016.

This is what matter. In assumption Staveley wants Rafa. The Reubens through their son Jamie wants Poch. The Saudis want Allegeri. I wouldn’t be surprised if this is fairly close to the case It’ll end up being a collective decision/choice though obviously not just one person making it. Yes collective decision but bear in mind 80% allows you to make the final decision yours.

I think Formal confirmation was received on this Wednesday. The five days completion time will end next Thursday but due to Eid Holidays in Saudi Banks will be closed until next Thursday. I am pretty sure June 1st is the most likely date.

Why would they need to come to Newcastle in your scenario ? I'm with you in that I think its happening but I dont get why anyone would need to physically come here ? Two reasons: 1. Physical collection of property. I’d imagine there is an emotional attachment and won’t feel real or like they can get properly started unless they establish some physical space for themselves at the club. 2. Ego. As seen in a few documentaries about super rich from that part of the world they like to show off their new toys amongst themselves and this is as big as they come. If you are muslim you would understand. Why would they come to Newcastle on their biggest holiday of the year? Would you go to Saudi on Chirstmas eve.
