  1. Announcement will on the Par with Eid. Friday afternoon or Saturday afternoon.
  2. Ramadan Guessing here but I'm thinking you don't know much about ramadan. All we want is for you to know.
  3. The Saudi regime murdered my fiance. It can't be allowed to buy Newcastle United | Hatice Cengiz https://theguardian.com/commentisfree/2020/may/18/saudi-regime-newcastle-united-jamal-khashoggi-mohammed-bin-salman
  4. We need $150 million training campus. It's a load of bollocks according to Caulkin. Caulkin is becoming a God. What Paul Smith is saying might not be accurate but the general things he said is not off of what is going on.
  5. From Guillem Balagué https://www.sport.es/es/noticias/opinion/puerta-abierta-dinero-dudoso-7963897 The Newcastle fans are about to get rid of an owner who despises them. The feeling is mutual, of course. Mike Ashley believes that he has done a lot for the club (investing his time and money, mainly) and that this should be returned in appreciation and acceptance of his strange decisions. I am not talking about vomiting over a fireplace after a new night of drunkenness in a city pub , but rather, for example, not renewing Rafa Benítez despite the fact that he was looking for a better performance from the club. After several sale attempts, he is about to hand over ownership to a Saudi consortium led by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman who will own 80 percent of the club. In other words, if the Premier does not prevent it, the institution will be handed over to a fund of the Saudi absolutist monarchy. The idea is to make a Manchester City (acquired by Qatari royalty) and not so much a PSG (in the hands of the Abu Dhabi government), that is to say to make all the possible investment in the squad but also to create a spectacular infrastructure that improves the club and the city. Financial fair play will prevent Newcastle from becoming a City at the same speed as Manchester because they were able to start the transformation before the economic limits imposed by UEFA and the Premier reached. 30 million euros Newcastle will be able to spend a net € 30 million a year (the difference between revenue and expenses) over the next three seasons. Although the buyer will send in the market due to the crisis caused by the coronavirus, it will cost to pay for great figures to reach a team that today is one of the ten worst in the Premier. Gareth Bale, one of the footballers who has sounded the most to reinforce the magpies, to begin with, will not go there. In any case they want to convince a prestigious coach to give the impression that they are serious . Mauricio Pochettino is first on the list, followed by Rafa Benítez, Massimiliano Allegri and Julian Nagelsmann. The entry of governments from affluent countries has changed the internal rules of soccer; historical clubs, let's say, can no longer compete against them. Saudi Arabia has an aggravating factor: it has a trail of attacks on human rights and ethical doubts that make it truly difficult to applaud the face-lift they seek in the Premier. But it will take advantage of the fact that the English League reinvented itself to obtain economic benefits; that is, there are no serious processes to prevent the arrival of dubious money.
  6. Paul Smith @Smudge1962 · 13m It’s never been in the PL’s interest to block this #NUFCTakeover To maintain their claims of having the best league in world football they need very rich investors. Those investors inevitably attract the best players which in turn increases the PL’s commercial power globally
  7. Yep I have had no doubt that's the case for about a week now. It got laughed off when I mentioned that last weekend too. The fact football has no resume date and may well resume then be stopped again for potentially months is certainly a factor. Yeah you are absolutely spot on.
  8. Yes it will not be rejected. People needs to calm down it wont happen soon. We also need to assume there is Ramadan and we shouldn't expect things before May 24/25.
  9. I think if everyone knew that for a fact, then it would be cool. The likes of George and those close to the process are predicting it is going to be long. He didn't say that. He said it will take as long as it takes. Meaning it could be anytime. He said today it will be slow process. I want it to happen as quick as possible but that is not the case I am afraid.

  11. Duncan Castle just said in his podcast decision wont be known until the outcome of project restart known one way or another. This could be months folks.
  12. George even his week said he was not on BZG bandwagon. I am surprised to find in this forum he is. Can you guys dont have the smallest shame? If you want to be pessimistic and dont want to trust what is going on it is fine.
  13. It is time for Chi Onwurah to represent her constituency and make a valid points how this takeover can help creating jobs and making significant investment in her jurisdiction. I don't blame other MP's try to help their teams. What she did in her fact finding town hall last week is giving platform to the right groups an Qatar media machine to have more negative things to say about this takeover.
  14. It would also be nice if people actually listened to him instead of asking him daily for updates. He has said it’s a 2 way process. He has said the buyers remain confident. He has said their is serious doubt about the claims in the press would hinder the takeover. He’s a journalist. He won’t have anymore information to give. If something has happened since he last spoke then that means he has no information, either that nothing has happened, or Staveley hasn’t passed any information on to him. He’s not going to sit on information about if the deal has passed or been rejected and only remember to tell everyone once people on Twitter ask him. So true wish people understand this.
  15. I dont hear anything yesterday regarding time frame. He is super confident and he said we shouldnt worry about any complain or time frame. So lets not twist this one way or another just wait.
  16. What are fans of other football clubs talking about on their forums? At least we have the takeover to discuss. Everton fans are talking about our takeover a lot and, my word, they absolutely f***ing hate us. If it goes through then, with the Mackems out of the picture, we have a new enemy. In fact their board members on Grand Old Team are uncannily similar to those on RTG. Bitter doesnt even come close. Do you have a link?
  17. Don't believe me if you don't want to. Makes no odds to me mate. McClaren was sounded out about the NUFC job long before he took it. Anyone who has link with that era with the new buyers we are doomed. So i am not saying he didnt tell you this but it is all BS
  18. Both the Athletic Journos and the the Chronicle also didnt say anything.
