  1. As a kid my first club shirt was an Everton one. Primarily because the sponsor "Nec" was then vernacular for 'getting off' and was different to the Man United and Liverpool shirts. Definitely cant read into that.
  2. At least one of them should be a cup tournament. Far better for the neutral but its all about content now. Having the same format as the CL may as well just say these are B and C mini-champions league *fuck of West Ham btw, knew the yobbish c8nts would get rewarded
  3. Wanting English clubs to do well in Europe as a representation of our league and ourselves went out decades ago when the league no longer needed West Ham to get to a final to show itself off. That plus the underdog will almost always be the non-PL (richest league in the world) team and the mental gymnastics of supporting a team, fans and players that we spend the full domestic season not liking.
  4. Just doesn't seem right to play this badly and win on a scabby penalty award like that
  5. As fans they're probably the Anglo/Italian equivalents of each other. Eratic, volatile, vile c*nts.
  6. Very good. Beats Ian 'Moose shit' Abrahams claiming they were throwing toilet rolls on to the pitch. Well known causes of head trauma
  7. framed: Something I’ve noticed over the last few months sad as it is they’re really going hard online for friendships with Man City and West Ham. They used to beef a lot with City a couple of years ago but now there’s this mutual love in for obvious reasons I know. The West Ham thing is baffling me though, why they’re suddenly slurping round that lot has got me beat. Roker Mackem: Leeds anarl I noticed What are the Bilbao link based on same shirt colour forgers on about? Not on social media so wouldn't know but never known of any beef with Man City in my 30years.
  8. Last I checked they were fundamentally opposed to Fender (who is obviously shit due to where he's from and who he supports) due to the Newcastle "hegemony" and "Geordiefication of the North East". AKA outside of RTG - doing a gig in your hometown at the football clubs stadium.
  9. I cant see him achieving anything there that his predecessors didnt achieve to the disdain of their fans and ultimately the owner unless all concerned are accepting far lower expectations. As a direct competitor, at least on paper, with a tendency to worry, this doesn't concern me at all but I'm not sure any appointment they could have made would. Its not the managers fault. Its the unrealistic expectations of fans and owner who have had probably their longest prolonged spell in the higher echelons in their history and been unsatisfied for most of it.
  10. That's always been the case when sides finish level on points and there's an important matter at stake.
  11. What!? and have people down south realise what he is Animals shit in the corners
  12. Watched the other Barcelona home game from the Inter CL campaign on an Austrian CL show. Battered them. If Bellamy could kick we'd have won that too. Have to admit it took me by surprise. Just remember Kluivert getting clapped off and Sir Bobby shouting "well played" at the end.
  13. Seems to be. They've spent most of the time since outside the top division. Football wasn't invented in 1957 marra
  14. SJP never holding a concert again is on a par with SJP holding concerts regularly to me. Coventry and Sunderland get them regularly. Good for them. Couldn't care less personally.
  15. Man United have played like we did in 98 & 99 had we got a ridiculous penalty decision and they managed to hit post and bar
  16. Rememeber when not expecting maximum points from Leicester/Brighton and claiming winning at Chelsea was a big ask was derided as "bed wetting"?
  17. 4 wins in 33 games for Allardyce. Still thinks he's great.

    Scott McTominay

We became a better team without Cole and with Gillespie. Became title contenders in the next two seasons where we were falling away from that previously and struggling to score. Victors get to rewrite history but Cole was considered a disaster his first three seasons at Man United, a literal joke at times.
  19. Salah's right mind. They had everything to qualify for the CL. 14years head-start on Newcastle, referees, VAR referees, the media, trying to stop our takeover, threatening to form a new league, intimidation of match officials, allegations of bias against the whole shabang. and still fucked it up at the first possible hurdle.
  20. Bruce has one win in 13 this season Lampard one win in 19 in all comps this season
  21. That's correct (researched it for something on the Mag a while back). And the next home game ("game day 3") against West Ham too (Everton got 18,118). Probably for a few others too - Grimsby for sure, 10,000 more than were at Man City's game in the top-flight, and Grimsby was maxed out (could have been more).
  22. I think they (Levy, fans) are still in hope and panic of bouncing back in or clinging on to the "6" so nobody is going to get time for at least another season. Need a good old midtable finish before a Rodger's or someone could survive producing a standard Spurs season.
  23. This is on there today and it doesn't at all show what the comment says. It shows the Keegan era was the post war average and the bigger rise was four years after Keegan left but there's no reasoning with people that can look at a graph and believe their own lying eyes over what's right there or start yet another attendance arguement when its as one sided against them as it is.
