National radio's brief report failed to convey they were the new Entertainers. "Poor game" and "Sunderland are struggling to get into it" was mentioned though. The only logical explanation must be this is the work of the Magedia again. Imagine how great a team Millwall must be though to be ahead of the mackems having played less games.

Was a Villa 4-4 Leicester in 94/95, something crazy about it that I can't recall. Maybe 4-1 and Leciester made it 4-4 or something.

Newcastle United v West Ham United: 04/02/23 @ 17:30 (Sky Sports)

Just watched the Leeds home game from that year, no commentary the sound is unmolested and its much the same. QPR too. Weren't anything out of the ordinary games for atmosphere by the then standards. Think its why people should ease up on the atmosphere critiques, its the best now, it was the best then but its never going to be as good anywhere now as it was then generally. Same goes for the football if were honest but we dont let that get in the way. Something I remember distinctly about their equaliser against us in 90/91 was this feeling in the crowd, frustrated that because Burridge went crazy they got a goal they'd done nothing to deserve. It skewered the gameplay and the table and felt instantly crucial, which it turned out to be. We'd have been 2nd or something with a win but just dropped after that whilst they got promoted on the back of a slightly better start than us, having until that goal not been better than us for a year and a half. -
Gordon (Mag) Armstrong's header in a Quarter-Final - good to see their level of iconic moments is in keeping with their level of iconic players.

Think the ball was in play for 61'. So it was more like a shot on target every 2minutes and a shot at goal every 90seconds. Their keeper looked knackered at the end. Tino's touches for the assists and his goal just sublime -
Don't know what these new regulations are but I do know mackems would gladly sacrifice the hope of their club ever being anything to stop us being successful

Context for people that moan about the atmosphere at SJP. Happens everywhere, a lot more and a lot more often than here.
-
They're having a pop at the atmosphere last night. Worth noting that when they were in this situation there was about 30,000 there, 5,000 Man United fans and 18000 empty seats. The atmosphere at SJP was probably better than that against Burnley in the 2nd round of this cup last season under Bruce than their semi. A like for like comparison would be night and day, visually and audibly

Never lets you down. Sky, the Saudis and commentators part of a secret pro Mag order and are anti human rights: 'Have the Saudis paid off sky?' "something sinister going on, its as though sky are in cahoots." "the commentary love in is embarrassing. sportswashing at it's finest" "Sky always sucking you lot off. Saudi probably paying them. Embarrasing" "I’ve said it before they’ll be getting paid to big them up" "Tip of the iceberg mate" "John Murray wanking the clowns off on Radio 5 now." McCoist who briefly played for Sunderland 40years ago and had us for his testimonial makes the list: "Oh great, we have to hear that annoying wanker McCoist lick their arse all night." "Super ally right down in my estimation now praising the mags" Delusion/self comforting/avoiding responsibility for their poor attempts to replicate/ignorance re wor flags: "Have they dished out free scarves and flags again?" "Oh I wish we all were given scarves free to wave about" "Free Scarf Mags" ....and that was just the pre match. I couldn't cope with that much hate in my life never mind pre kick-off in a local rivals match

Atmos are more likely to go flat when the game is in the bag and you feel not needed and especially against a team so far beneath you. Was pretty anti-climactic once 2-0/3-0 up. Have to admit I felt it was won then and lost any tension at my end, got interesting again when Bruno was sent-off an things picked up again. The atmosphere at Old Trafford tomorrow will emphasise that.

Just assuaged that people are on it. Makes my blood run cold to think its only ourselves.

Had nearly 20years of lotto wins. Had a brief sabatical and won the c**t again

We've lost two players that weren't or barely were cutting the mustard when in the first team. Shelvey was useful just to take some strain off the other midfield lads. The two incoming, one likely will fit into the team and contribute more, the other has a clean slate plus the trust of the coaching/scouting team. Gordon is a better option of switching with Miggy than Murphy, Ashby could offer respite at the back after Lewis and Lascelles were particularly lacklustre against Sheffield Wed (allow Burn to move inside instead e.g.)

They'll get a big fine. So they love throwing money around, means nothing to them and their punishment will be to make them do more of what they love doing and means nothing to them. That'll teach them

Bothered me that they (and the like) were happy as pigs in shite about the utter joke of a club

On the above picture: Jeezas and how? (she'd only be punching above her weight a little bit with Ginola ffs)
-
The very least that can be said is he improves the squad, gives a better option off the bench or alternating with Miggy/ASM/whoever than Murphy. I'm 100% down with that. No point in seeing it any different - he's not being presented as our only signing for the forseeable or the player were going to build everything else around.

Woah! I'm seeing treble here, nine Steves
