  1. Like finding an ancient burial ground that. Or more like the sarcophagus over Chernobyl given, I take it, thems the steps up past the open latrines. Stood there (the end) for the bulk of 89/90 and usually sentimental about things but wasn't too fussed when it was dug up, even less so now I know some remains.
  2. What's the level like? I literallly haven't kicked a ball since 2005 but was formerly pretty tasty, still run rings round dogs with a mini one but don't want to wind up mortified
  3. Think I'll just settle for extending the Gallowgate but slightly bigger than the Leazes and remodel the East Stand to be steeper, deeper or have an Olympic Gallery at the old Wembley type feature which must be possible for a few extra thousand and stick at 62-65k.
  4. I hesitate to say 'bollocks to him' because we have a club that knows better for the first time in a very long time.
  5. That fact that Mario Balotelli was deemed good enough to ever be at a PL winning club is the bit that's sounds the least true. Take away the erratic behaviour I find him a boringly average player.
  6. Barcelona 97 for me, unless you mean rain-wise
  7. Definitely, the roof was off by the start of 99/00 - famously or infamously in the downpour game.
  8. Albert Arthur Moxey, alias Brendan Mulcahy (aka Francis Foggarty), arsonist and absconder
  9. 98/99 - Wimbledon was the first time I recall seeing poles preparing for the extension/roof off at the back of the Leazes Know it was a lot easier but pre extension pretty much rebuilding the whole ground for only the loss of half the capacity in the Gallowgate for half a season was some planning by the then regime I find looking back
  10. Saudi Arabia, Holland and Philippe Albert's Belgium qualified for the 2nd round of the World Cup. Belgium should have beat Saudi but Weber missed plethora of chances, Owairan scored one of the best World Cup goals but didn't beat wor Philippe. Belgium 0-1 Saudi Arabia Morocco 1-2 Holland
  11. By their own logic every player they've ever signed and the best players they've ever signed are shit because the big clubs never wanted them. And 90% of the time that would be the correct summation.
  12. I know its a cliche but at times it does almost feel like is this really happening I blame fantasising about this really happening for so long I don't know what's legit and what's dreaming about a post Ashley world after the latest act of sabotage just to keen sane.
  13. Wish I hadn't seen that. Then I wouldn't have seen this complete removal of self-awareness mackem2017: Big jawed ugly fucker him like. Where have Newcastle fans been over the last 10 years when there was empty seats everywhere and having to give away free tickets. Think that last time we had 10k empty spaces was 90/91, whereas for them its most games. I mean one look at the average attendances would disprove that, so that's the last thing that will happen, sh*t wallowing c*nts and this "Or even the likes of villa. Who signed their number 1 target diego carlos" ffs man they live in a parallel universe
  14. All I know is its something like 92 out of the last 100 seasons we've had a higher average attendance and often by a distance, where they squeak it. There's no comparison really, so of course they constantly start arguements about it. Expect the 'if you take away the intertoto cup games they've only played 150 odd more games in Europe than us' any time now.
  15. Wolves getting the same as West Ham and Leicester combined doesn't seem to upset Brady at all for some reason.
  16. Pearson's like the new Auld Stevie with modcons.
  17. Not on twitter so can't access his likes, but sounds like exactly the sort of wannabe sex-pervert I took him for. The epitome of the classic creepy as fuck bloke that c*nt. Mr Strange off the Mary Whitehouse Experience all over him.
  18. I don't get why the concept that somebody can get on people's nerves is so hard to grasp, We've all got people that do that to us that are likeable or no bother to other people. He gets right up some people chuffs and doesn't bother others. That's fair enough, no right or wrong about it. I'm in the finding him grating as f&ck camp but then I didn't hate Pardew
  19. Its so ridiculous when it boils down to just not wanting to let one other club in that group, 7 instead of 6 in the PL, at worst a potentially tricky game for Real Madrid in the CL in the future, and we cant have that?! They were okay with Spurs latching on to the big5 and considering themselves in the Euro elite so what's another team.
  20. Ah. That might explain getting what I took as a suspicous look from a couple that were in there standing by the counter when I nipped in. Made me self-conscious and couldn't figure out the cheek of it to give me hacky looks when I'd only nipped in to check it off the bucklist as I'd gone past hundreds of times and they're the ones loitering in sex shops buying lord knows what.
  21. Nipped in there once, just to see what it was like as it was on my way to/from work
  22. Instead of investing in infra structer, academies, the community and improvements for fans - things that have always been said to be sensible and just investments - all that money will go on the first team now and rightly so since that's what pays the bills. What a rollicking idea. But as long as the super leagues teams who tried to bolt are protected f**k football eh. Everton will be at Goodison Park forever unless they fancy at least one relegation. There would be no way a team could build a new stadium or even stand now.
  23. We'll have deploy the new hologram technology for them. Be the first time I've seen a hologram there since we sold Jenas
  24. So when's the Worstock Festival taking place?
  25. Andy Taylor from Duran Duran
