Wor Flags: visit worflags.org.uk/donate to support future displays
Wolfcastle replied to wor jackie's topic in Football
Maybe a flag displaying our record pre Howe and post Howe with a superimposed face on a cricket appeal titled "Hey media....HOWEZAT?!?!" since it'll be well in cricket season and they like a link. We can't do a Tiote homage incase it upsets Clive 'Dr Zauis' Anderson again then again maybe not. -

Kelly might still be my favourite ever player and I suppose an underrated legend, would have loved to have been there to witness that. A flag of Tino holding up the corner flag would be interesting, artistically, like a dream within a dream sort of thing. -
Same. I've recovered to fist pumping and roaring at the goals, nervous as heck through the games and smiling like a Cheshire cat for the next 48hours after a win - but was jumping around at that for the first time in who knows how long and was only in the hoose. Lush to know still got it in me.

Yeah. Pretty much perfect for our needs this season. Solid foundation and a cracking piece of business.

Now that would be cringe.

Emil Krafth to leave club at end of the season (Official)
Wolfcastle replied to Nobody's topic in Football
I first saw him in a different light in the West Ham game. Just did a few things confidentally and well and looked a player at times. Still only thought he'd be competent when called upon but steadily, slowly and surely he's putting a string together. Well played Wor Krafth Its going to feel ruthless if we part with some of these lads now after not just the efforts but visible improvements that have been coached out of them. -
Fleetwood, Coventry, Charlton, Portsmouth, Lincoln, others and now Shrewsbury. They're like the club version of Souness, starting fights everywhere they go and being too arrogant to see they're the ones with the problem. Yozzer c*nts

and the previous best player missed a chunk of games and is well off the boil

Last South America that waved a flag around got booked. Miggy got off lightly there. That wasn't after the game was over though in fairness.

Burnley have Southampton at home next, perfect for them. They've got a great run in, I've put them down for lot of points, not saying panic and of course that might not happen and things could turn around today but some people's over-confidence when it can easily term disturbs me in this pressure.

I've a hunch Bradford don't milk having been to the newly constructed Wembley like these do and certainly won't goad Leeds with it, they'd just look pathetic if they did. Carlisle fans won't go on about it and if they did it would be obviously mild banter, they'd not for a second think that puts them above the fan of a PL club. and yet the mackems

Either Tino's hat-trick goal against Barcelona - knew it was going in soon as it left Gillespie's boot, great view of it, floated up in happiness rather than going mad. Kelly at Grimsby. Wasn't there but just hearing Mick Lowes "Kelly can he stay on his feet?!?.... KELLLYYY" - first time I'd cried tears of joy with this club and still brings a tear to the eye. McGhee's winner in the 5-4 v Leicester coming from 2-4 down. First time the club sent me into ecstacy.

Get Papavassilou printed on the back of your shirt.

When I totted the points up a month or two back I had Burnley for 13points + and Everton 6 - now 8 with the Man United result so have to stick to that and agree, at least on Burnley. Its the feel of the Achillies Paradox about it though because Brentford, Leeds and ourselves are in better form and liable even just by law of averages to extend their points beyond Burnley's and probably Everton's reach.

All Played Out by Pete Davies? Cracking book especially for those with Italia 90 nostalgia. If not that's where I read it and its been documented elsewhere. When you watched Hold the Back Page on sky with those hacks on it, it emphasised his assesments.

Genuinely shocked. Had them down for way more points than Everton which has to have some basis. Initial reaction would normally be a change would shake things up but not here. Likely he would have brought them back up if the worst did happen and they've done that before haven't they? that would be a major unknown now.

I thought that to myself about my shirt and season ticket most weeks under Dalglish in that era

They're like the ownership group version of KK. Hit it out the park everytime and energise you as a fan.

Had to check to see which 0-3 Leicester it was. The shambolic were going down and nobody seems to care McLaren one, or the they've put zero thought into this game and basically having a paid skive Bruce one. Halcyon days either way.

Poch was the boy for them I feel. A few bad results and people will doubt Ten Hag, pressure will build, where Poch has a bit of money in the bank a would get more slack - and times what's probably needed there. There again OGS wasn't a manager at all so must surely be an improvement, if given time.

Always was a lazy yet productive c*nt.

I think its something to do with insewerance

Never disliked him even though he was the best manager they've had in half a century. When he did that monkey dance waiting to get interviewed after the game with the Newcastle fans kept behind sealed the deal, pretty sure he was applauded for it. Cant dislike McCarthy either. Abysmal long ball football perveyors mind

Sounds like he might have been rooting for us in those European games against the spicks, krauts, eye-ties, cloggies and frogs in that case.
