  1. Ironic losing at Luton since he's won at looting the sport for so long.
  2. Aye, speaking of mackems.
  3. Wolfcastle

    Joelinton

Just watched the highlights without the nervousness of first viewing. Looks every inch a top quality midfielder, assured, presence, confident, bit of attitude about him now. Branko Strupar's right above. Be a lush experience to see him notch to cement all of this

    Joe Willock

Part of his improved performances seems to be confidence and assurance, goal can only help that, but he's a reassuring presence again.
  5. Massive this. The genuine first 6pointer arguably. Win it, which I don't think we will mind, and I think we'll be safe, leap-frogging these with games in hand. That would be too easy and suffering free though.
  6. Sounds like he's stopped interupting people too wonder what that's about
  7. Played 12 Won 0 Goals For 10 Goals Agianst 24 (-14) and the toughest game he's had apart from Man U away was West Ham at home. Left us 2nd bottom and has took West Brom from 4th/5th to 11th
  8. This c**ts win-rate this season still 0%?

    Joelinton

Whisper it, but he's actually a player of the year candidate predated Burn's arrival, Schar's upturn and Trippier and Wilson plagued by injury.

beeeeeww - welcome to sunderland Alex Neil.
  11. So much still in the balance, nightmare
  12. Connor Whickham just scored for MK Dons?! that can't be right, that's too obvious and ridiculous
  13. Burnley aren't a bad team really, they never get gubbed and usually just miss out and have shown for years they're capable of stuff to not be ruled out - but i had ruled them out. Right fly in the ointment this.
  14. After finally feeling comfortable gathering a result, despite the accursed injuries, have to sit through this torture. Just cant have any relief. At least there is Radio 5 - "still no wins and no goals for West Brom since Steve Bruce took charge"....yes, fancy that eh
  15. Be handy for our owners (and players soon) to park their yachts
  16. Even if he didn't he seems like he's constantly striving to learn and improve himself, travelled and studied a lot during his time out apparently. Meanwhile Bruce goes on holdiay and watched cricket.
  17. Cant fault any of them. We know Krafth and Murphy are limited and out of their depth but gave what they had. Willcoks back and Fraser has been made useful. Were just names before. Top work Eddie and team.
  18. Very satisfied with that giving we were missing probably our three best players and what we were forced to play. Would definitely have taken a point and this was the least nervous I've been for a long time watching a game. Bruce's team with modest acquisitions of Wood, Targett and Burn. Also considering where these are in the league with that sterile atmosphere, feels like it wouldn't take much to get up their ourselves

don't know where they get this reputation for having inferiority complexes and living in echo chambers from re the metro suspension: dillgaf: When was the last time there was any planned disruption, industrial action or otherwise when decapitators United were playing at home? ssr: It's uncanny how the roadworks on the A19 and Metro disruption perfectly syncs up with Sunderland home games. Almost like it's spitefully planned. safccfas: Wasn’t it made known on here after the A1231 and A19 both being closed on a match day that the person in charge of making these decisions was a NUFC season ticket holder?

Christ I think I've still got tickets for Platinum club beambacks in 1994 that cost more than that *yep "Sheffield Wed v Newcastle Utd -Sat 05 March 1994 Kick Off 3pm Admit to platinum concourse price £10.00"

that's arguably their true natural size and pretty much how I see them, why their expecations outweigh reality and maybe the source of many of their problems. 40,000 people paying for the cheapest season tickets in the league, supplemented by various freebies should not be competitive with a 40,000 club charging standard PL prices.
  23. Its not the people living there but the historic buildings. Rebuild in Leazes park has been mooted before. Certainly preferable to anywhere else for me. Extension very tricky but dearly hope so.
  24. Don't want to be a snob but I couldn't be doing with the conference league. Under Ashley they'd be the only games that interested me but they'd be a pain in the erse now. (still probably go mind, different teams and all that)
