  1. Was 45/55 we go before the window. A barbaric 50/50 now. New managers elsewhere awakens something awful in me
  2. Murphy for Longstaff probably. There's 4 ahead of Longstaff in centre-midfield now 5 really now we can shift Schar there.

  4. Sort of mentality we'll be culling. Others clubs might want to take note too. Infuriating that they'd be getting the same wages in these loans so its literally just skiving.
  5. What's disappointing is that you'd think players would want to play. Guess that's changed these days but its wrong. They're still going to have to get up and go to training, may as well have a game of football to show for it ffs Especially Clark who hasn't got long left.
  6. 6 (and as a result, most people have). Improved every area but incrementally in some. Slight increase in survival chances. (*new managers elsewhere a fly in the ointment) Forward would have been huge difference maker. No knocking though. If Sevilla hadn't been going for the title, Lille in the CL and Man U being c**ts - we'd have been home and hosed and with a defence totally sorted.

It really is just like old times now.

P1sser that's somewhat offset by rekindling my hate for that club.
  9. I would have sympathy for him if he wasn't a d1ck head, arrogant, nasty, biased but because he is sort of feel 'suit yourself dipso' about it
  10. Is it generally hard to keep up with all this or is just us waking from 14years cryostasis struggling to adapt?

Lennon would do, saves any confliction when they appoint someone that's a loathsome b*stard to begin with like Keane and Big Sam. As Midds has suggested maybe the owners should stop doing what the fans want them to do (sack a manager soon as they turn on them in a knee-jerk infantile manner) and observe the mess doing that has got them in.
  12. Any vacancies going at your place mate?
  13. All the sense I can make of the constant links is that around the time they would have been formulating targets Dubravka was making an error a game. Very thorough but definitely prefer to channel our time and money into other areas at this time.

See they can sack a Johnson, when there's nothing to gain by turning a blind-eye to grooming minors anyway.

Warnock with his promotion and play-off record is the best man they could get. Be a bit beneath their status as the bank of England club though and wont look ambitious from the new/old regime. Going out on a limb to predict this sequence of events over the next year for the next manager 1) They'll be the right choice for 5month and all will be the fault of the previous manager 2) depending on whether they've just won or lost their fickle little brains will alternate between hating and thinking manager is the right man 3) Ultimately will be hounded out
  16. Speaking of Manilow, time for a blast of Mandy?
  17. I'd be happy with an Nketiah type more than Nketiah but still err on the side of if he's better than what we have for that role (nobody/unfit/passed it Gayle) okay
  18. Worked out well. I can enjoy deadline day, whilst still wanting 1or2, that we've addressed every area being in the back pocket takes any edge off. Also not concerned about who, if any, goes for the first time in a long time.
  19. Very sleek breaking news strip btw.

Interesting. The lads I grew up with got into causing bother at various places they proudly told me. Johnny Come Lately's to a man their away days started under Sir Bobby and so missed the Keegan era where tickets were gold dust and where the vibe was very different in my experiences and far from marauding around Breda, games I was at and heard about, we got on great with Antwerp, Rangers, Bilbao, Sheffield United, Liverpool. *they were all also soft as clarts which makes it even more pathetic, never seen one of them win or start a fight at home.

"Today's trouble at the match" love the title, 'today's' so as to differentiate it from Charlton, Portsmouth, Fleetwood, Lincoln, Coventry, Ipswich and Rotherham. "Spent more time watching the bottles getting thrown at the Bolton fans than I did watch the match" "Pleased to see the fat ginger steward get a slap for being a prick throughout the match." Probably jumped on the Keegan bandwagon as he and his Derby team-mates were beating us 4-1 in 1992.

Shearer against Bayer Leverkusen esque. Which is the closest they'll get to Champions League, a Shearer or Bayer Leverkusen

Trouble again. Turning on each other "battling with themselves". Mag spies again?

They'll be chasing after Willem like the Vietcong after his character in Platoon after the first defeat.
