Be a right tetchy 2nd leg, can see players missing would be finals because of it.
-
Their best chance was from a random freak deflection when ratboy headed his own shoulder, or shouldered his own head Took the sting right out of Liverpool winning the league when you compare their football to this George Graham mark2 shite
-
Its fine in the circumstances. You're going to ship possession and some shots to any top team (really any team - its just we haven't been lately) If we were them we'd be saying as favourites, 2nd in the league and the home team - that was uninspiring. And the atmosphere, to be expected of them but cripes man. Would hate to imagine what its like for non semi-finals

Hope Ginola clouts the c*nt again

Half the team he's slaghtered already in a semi-final ffs

Modern version of pre-Wenger Arsenal

Clubs effectively lose points following these rules as well as not following them. Could probably calculate the risk if they ever get down what deduction you'd get for what "over spend" you commit which is why it'll remain random.
-
Least it prevents smaller league clubs doing an Aldershot from 30years back, except Bury a few years back.
-
Just as well they held us Villa and Forest back to the extent they did when they did.
-
Its never seemed right to me that because of a postcode lottery smaller clubs in the south with lesser support will take more in than the Sheffield clubs, Boro and mackems. You don't hear much about legacy being protected in their cases or 'fair play' for that matter.

Impostercoglu will be going ape

Tiny little bit of momentum and they've gone from deservedly trailing to having it in the bag. Vintage top against bottom stuff

Lacklustre fare.

Man U fans "where's your famous atmosphere"

I think it would be more miserable for Man United to lose than Liverpool so by that healthy parameter on my part I'm probably hoping for a Man United defeat.
-
A sort of moral victory for Man United by losing it late or keeping the score down. Too much noise about a thrashing for it to come to pass, just a hunch
-
Didn't follow it on here but the feeling expressed towards the end of the first-half was that we could put the game to bed before half-time. Not the sort of circumstance where at the end of the next half the opposition manager would feel robbed and proud as punch with his teams brilliant performance
-
What happened to him? was akin to selling Paul Gascoigne a few months back.
-
Liverpool, Arsenal, Man City - definite CL for me Chelsea probably 4th - were probably the most likey if not so by definition 5th 6th. Heard Villa weren't clever today and the first half an absolute stinker with Forest that'll likely be the teams with the pecking order up fror grabs - no offence to Fulham and Bournemouth, who'll probably finish ahead of Spurs and Man United
-
Yeah, you'd calm down the second to fourth time around and use different terminology if it was just rage and being a bad loser - just makes him come off worse to add cynicism with a zest of bullshit to it
-
Atmosphere sounded dire - national commentators mentioned as much at half-time - though there's no real frame of reference with it being Spurs.
-
Its much of the reason for my 'blind loyalty' in those spells. All we'd be doing is paying off a coaching staff to pay to bring in a coaching staff on the off chance that they'd do what Eddie has already proven he can do.

Our potentially not winning anything is the new sequence of results being all important, which was the new 'top dogs', which was the new 2-1, which was the new 'one more seat than', which was the new 'when the stadium's built'. and yet its a relic from the 90s and Sir Bobby's era too. Similarly in response to champions league palpitations they hope we 'humiliate' ourselves again (didn't even happen under Daglish but okay).
