Much better than the old fashioned way all this is mind.

That's why I wouldn't be surprised if Spurs took something. Would be the sort of Spurs thing to do.

Even the worst case scenario would barely make any difference at all. Certainly doesn't justify panic or rage. Its a treat affter the last two years.

Like to think that was their response to Palace out the way, some respectability restored but that's it and the response to the response wont be up to much. Besides which logically, they're still not good.
-
I know. Was bound to be a response after getting tanked in their last game.

Today must have been hell for some people bet there's some that fall into the category of hating only drawing with Brighton and maybe not qualifiying for Europe again and add insult to injury the fan funded mass flag display not being up to the standards they expect and in keeping with something the North Koreans would pull off. Wasn't even 30degrees either. -
We'll be stronger domestically without it for sure, but it fractionally increases our chances of winning something. Balancing act - might even be a method out there to work it all out. We'll be amongst the favourites if not the out-right favourite but Villa have just been turned over by Olympiacos and Liverpool Atalanta - just takes catching one of those. May be past experiences talking but amongst the other mistakes that protracted UEFA cup run in 03/04 was very damaging to the club and after Keegan missed out on Europe we got stronger the following season. (yet the CL run in the season prior to 03/04 didn't do us any harm at all). I'm fine either way. Certainly wont be enraged at missing out on the Conference League.

He has some weird issue with Bruno. Slags him off every game. Used to throw garbage at Cabaye and Rob Lee apparently. -

I see virtue either way. Its a chance of winning something but its still a very slim chance (as Villa and the slack afforded Moyes have shown) and will be little more than more games unless we at least reach the final. More games that ultimately mean little wont be our friend when persuing domestic achievements. Not worth lacing into the manager/team about by a long chalk. -
Aye right *hard lines on that equaliser though

People cant deal with results that go against them, even though its happened hundreds of times and will happen hundreds more times. Its sport. Every single time isn't cause for a brattish ungrateful drama. The club and team are doing well and trying really hard. Last home game last season was a 0-0 draw against a team nowhere near as good as Brighton. It happens.- 744 replies

Not after 'entertainment' in games of this magnitude.

Totally with you on that. Had this arguement a while back that were it not for City "buying the league" and by extension Chelsea and Blackburn too - we'd have had the Premier League won by three clubs plus Leicester's miracle. Add on to that the fact Liverpool and Arsenal were winning the 1st Division nearly every season and with Manchester United hoovering up the majority of the cups. Instead of one club that nobody outside of Manchester had any real dislike for dominating this generation we'd have had three clubs dominating the last half century two of which are the most loathsome clubs of all and the other Arsenal. It might be boring but boring is bliss compared to the alternative.

Don't like playing teams after games like this so glad they've got Arsenal, every chance that will go the same way but when their backs to the walls and underdodgs they can pull something out there

Pardew'll be dancing the night away th'neet

Unlike the other towsings they've had once on a blue moon (no pun intended) this has been in the post for ages. The shock is as much that they've dodged it for so long
-
89/90 or the season they were relegated I'd guess
-
Us 5-0, Southampton 6-3, Chelsea 2-1 in 96 was one unless there was a cup game in the middle of it all course the run broke with Arsenal at home, interesting
-
The jammy bastards aren't going to blag their way out of this one.
-
Its early doors, new manager bounce etc. - but not to this degree, they've been excellent since he's been there
-
A scoreline reflecting how second best Man United have been?! I've seen it all now

93-95, but still -
Stood in for Ando on some commentary at Brentford a couple seasons back and was great, won me over.

Well the PL's crack team in the fit and proper persons department with the game and fans at its heart certainly gave that lot a thorough going over.
