  1. Tried to find a another cop out way to disallow it in the end - four minutes to agree with the original microsecond decision.
  2. It's his shameless laze that sets him apart. Plenty of bad managers but none that considered it a dream job, had done nothing to warrant it, struck a cracking financial deal to do it and then treat it like a chore between holidays whilst being utterly shameless about it.
  3. Theyre taking liberties and adding more rules to suit with our (and others) being reasonable, like their emboldened by it rather than appreciative. So perhaps that being overly reasonable should be revisited. Not least because it's better for the entire game to not have glass ceilings. The way we were going about steadily building was inoffensive and we were complimented on it but it still wasn't enough hobbling for some.
  4. Its taking speculating to accumulate out of the equation. What would have gone on with Rangers when they were in the 4th tier in Scotland for example. Is it fair a 4th tier club gets more sponsorship than Ross County in the top tier or is it fair that a club that gets 44k gets more advertising money than a club that gets 4k.
  5. Been out brightest spark. There's a virtue in having nothing to play for as early as this - but this is going to be brutal
  6. MK Dons have a different name, play in a different city, wear different colours and have different fans. Other than that they're Wimbledon. But then who isnt
  7. Nowhere near this optimistic. Be shocked if it isn't like every other game there even in defeat
  8. Haha yes, he still boils me for some reason. I've even let Cantona go but not that.
  9. Wish we could start football over. Complete and utter pigs arse is being made out of it. Fear fans will be exploited more now and expected to pay more to watch stagnancy.
  10. Beyond parody. Can't wait to see what they come up with next but I'll bet it enriches the authorities and elite clubs.
  11. The usual clubs with the best interests of the game at heart. Though with these rules there is no need (if there ever was) for parachute payments. Shame the relegation candidates didn't make life more difficult for the red clubs and Spurs in kind. Scorpion and the frog.
  12. Can't see the ffp rules helping with atmosphere here or anywhere else. Big part of it is the hope of a journey towards better times, or the fear of losing status. If neither of those things is possible, especially with the newer fan mentality, how passionate can they be about a game against Wolves that likely means nothing beyond the head to head.
  13. And 2000/01 was barbaric if were talking about performances. There was nothing to indicate what was to come in the next three years.
  14. What a grim dreamless aspirationless unchanging cavalcade of a future. Can't see this being good for the paying fans with that basically being the clubs well. And how it's fair given the desparity in regional economies is something that needs explained. Even though they're the same size the Mackems can now never compete with West Ham. Fair as fuck that.
  15. I've no compulsion to slaughter him or Dubravka only on the proviso they're not here next season, they've done their time, tried but not good enough not by a long chalk and its getting longer by the game.
  16. With what exactly? We've got one forward, cant bring anyone in now, couldn't anyway because both our hands are tied behind our backs, we have half a squad of players inherited from a joke of an era including wingers that cant cross, sloths in midfield and nothing on the bench to change anything with. Is it just somehow play like the entertainers or Liverpool/City regardless of all that?
  17. Like the Forest game. I'm sure 3-2's used to be good.
  18. One of the subs you were lambasting the manager for not making iirc
  19. Whoever he brings on you'll just call worse than shite
  20. Did a bit of checking a while back and found in the last 100years (since the 20s) Boro have finished above Sunderland more than Sunderland have finished above Boro. By every distinction other than crowds they've been the 3rd team in the north-east for half a century. And crowds don't count when it comes to us.
  21. Monday Night Football is the early kick-off on Saturday of un-entertaining matches. Was fun up until 98/99 so don't know what's happened. Needs sacking off.
  22. Some strangely absent and not chiming in once during last weeks 3-0 win
  23. Was it bad management when Keegan had an injury crisis that derailed our season too? Shearer, Dyer, Cort, Woodgate under Sir Bobby we must never have had a good manager
