  1. Foreign divers: filthy weasels playing their dirty underhanded game Beckham/Owens diving all over for England then by association their clubs: professionalism
  2. Think I heard or read it mentioned at 150m. Don't know if that's based on now or next seasons projections or just as example.
  3. I know. Until Keegan as manager they'd been better than us for 10years and we were getting turned over at home by worse than Luton in a lower division. Even with KK honours were even. That performance and game was awful, last 15' aside it could have been the worst in 5yr. If we won against Luton it would have appeared over less cracks than that.
  4. Wonder if those of us that fired off emails to the PL during the whole protracted takeover palaver have dossiers on them. Mine was clean but had a few pops in it. Seems weird how it's deployed. How would Rangers/Celtic be policed and what of the makems that troll every post from someone at our club.
  5. The lack of mobility between the leagues strikes the same chord. The PL/Division1 was behind Germany, Italy and Spain until the late 90s. PL shouldn't have its status protected just as Liverpool, Spurs etc shouldn't. Keeping everything as it is now is a c**ts trick especially in sport given most of those in the ascendency once werent and would have complained the most had things locked them out.
  6. Its been pointed out before but it doesn't allow for certain parts of the country nevermind Europe being more wealthy than others so of course they can charge more per attendee and ultimately have bigger turnovers from which to spend more money. That's the case anyway but this enshrines it. I'm alluded by the fairness in that and I'm actually thinking about Sunderland here compare to say a Fulham when in essence the point at times with all this has attempted to benefit the bigger club/fanbase wise.
  7. Silage that. The main reason why the clubs/fans/owners that are happy with this tells the story. The only reason all the clubs at the top except Arsenal are there is because of the transience they're trying to eliminate. Making it a cavalcade. We'd never have been relegated from Division1 even with the ownership we had much less head towards Division3 and likewise we'd never have gone from fighting relegation to Division3 to nearly winning the league a few years later. Is it really more fun just to have made up the numbers in the top division instead of that? The self appointed right to say when the music stops is garish, taking their ball and going home. If these had been the rules from the start, and why not, the same still applies, Arsenal would be the only team at the top now that would have been at the top. The idea its to protect the small clubs I cant believe can be said with a straight face when since the notion of the Premier League frothed about in the late 80s that's been the last of their considerations, but it helps colour stuff like this.
  8. The Twattle they should call it
  9. Perhaps defer to the clubs if its too close to call. Arteta gives Klopp much more of a run for money in the cunt stakes than Arsenal give Liverpool.
  10. No. A pretty routine save pushed right into the danger zone is up there with leaving the near post unguarded in terms of poor goalkeeping. Expect it will be pointed out in the reviews/commentaries.
  11. That's a great description. Was going to say he added to the chaos but that's spot on. Players either did or at least felt like they had his number.
  12. There's never been a good atmosphere against a Luton, even peak Keegan/atmosphere in the cup, certainly the last top flight game against them with mostly terrace was dead. That goes for pretty much everyone. There's always some games for everyone that's just bread and butter games atmospherically. Pretty much everywhere has the same discussion. See the state of Villa on Tuesday. Its been generations now since they were last regularly good anywhere in the country.
  13. Love in?! You mean respect and benefit of the doubt for a number of years of excellent work and results.? Keegan, Sir Bobby and every future manager we'll ever have will drop points at home against relegation fighters. People's expectancy of position in this seasons circumstances seems to be around 6-8. Probably only been several thousands examples of a team around 7th not beating relegation threatened teams at home. We drew 0-0 at home to a bunch of them last season ffs
  14. This season with the injuries were a side stretching to compete for the dregs of the European places and Luton have been a problem for everyone this season and in with a shot of staying up. Its not a 3rd round cup tie against a lower league club just because Luton are a small club. They're little different to Everton on the field. Were not Manchester City where we should walk every home game against anybody outside the top 7. The biggest critics are the first to point that out time and again in their comments on the manager/players and yet react like we are whenever we drop points. Everyone is disappointed at the result. Generally though nobody should be disappointed with the club/manager/players
  15. Its only seperate if you don't want to use context. Some people prefer the bipolar, reactionary reaction to every dropped point some dont. We seen how that worked out last season. It happens. They hammered Brighton in their last game. There's nothing between us and Brighton. Should they bemoan their lot based on that one game? Keegan's great team lost 2-0 and drew with far worse Luton teams than this. It would have been bang out of order to criticise the manager and players in the overall. We weren't good in either game but ffs you don't have to react to every setback like a bairn, they're going to happen forever. They still happen to Manchester City, whom were not and Luton used to beat great Liverpool teams regularly.
  16. A little respect for what they've all (over)achieved would be nice
  17. Any thoughts on the massive goal conceding increase since he's been in the team? Just as someone who slaughters everybody else if they put a pass out of place in the for 20minutes I thought that might be something someone ultra-critical and a compulsive moaner might pick up on.
  18. Its weird how he's the one person associated with the club that's above criticism to you.
  19. Steve Bruce shared trauma for me. When everyone else was telling us how great he was Villa knew and had experienced the same. More of them that get pushed down the better for me too. Can but dream, but into a crisis would be nice. Probably take the status quo over Everton but that's it.
  20. Could easily be 0-3 or 0-4 but whatever you do dont change and look at the objective or positive point of view.
  21. Cant say fairer than that. Much improved performance and a scoreline thats fully warranted. Injuries can get knotted like.
  22. From own research, 8years of being the North East's 3rd team would equal the longest run, of ours actually, ending in 1948, if excluding the war league, but this would only be their seventh anyway. Shows how much sequences mean outside of Wearside. Boro have finished ahead of the mackems more than the mackems have finished ahead of them since the 1920s! And bottom of the three 30 times to Boro 17 since the 60s.
