  1. And that’s not even how it’s pronounced in Swedish.
  2. Some nice man management there compared to Eddie Howe who talked on a regular basis to a player like Isaac Hayden who was out on loan and was no part of the first team here.
  3. Yeah, think a move to Brentford would be a better fit for him. A powerful central midfielder.
  4. Lucas Bergvall set to start in midfield tonight for Spurs.
  5. I have seen most of his 48 caps for Sweden. He’s been one the weakest link in the national team and I absolutely hated it when we signed him. He’s a limited footballer, but Howe has made some amazing work with him. Transformed him to a a reliable squad player capable of playing both right back and centre back.
  6. Based on pre-season they play a strict 3-4-3 and will come here looking for a 0-0 draw or a 1-0 win. Don’t think it’s a bad idea to start Trippier, Burn and Willock in this game. 433: Pope, Trippier, Schär, Burn, Hall, Willock, Bruno, Joelinton, Murphy, Isak, Gordon Trippier and Willock in for creativity.
  7. Based on your negotiation skills a fee of £50m would be more realistic.
  8. All the stats from last season is irrelevant. He’s for sale, they get an injury-prone player of the wage bill, Manchester United are stupid enough to pay the fee and they already have well-established players at the club who can play at centre back. It’s a perfect sale. You make it sound like he’s prime Paolo Maldini when in reality even a 34-years old Daley Blind will start games before him in the Dutch national team
  9. As I said, they are selling him because they don’t need him, he’s a backup on a high wage and they already have other options in his position.
  10. https://www.goal.com/en/lists/erik-ten-hag-matthijs-de-ligt-transfer-swoop-man-utd-misstep-bayern-munich-defender-backwards-since-leaving-ajax/blt80793dba77e38ff2
  11. They are selling him because they don’t need him, he’s a backup on a high wage and only Manchester United are stupid enough to pay big to get him to the club. Kim Min-jae is their best centre back.
  12. Interesting to see how two injury-prone Bayern rejects will improve the team.
  13. They need to buy 7-8 former Ajax players first before they can compete.
  14. He did the last 10 minutes of the game. Krafth just ran out of the pitch when they had a throw-in and didn’t come back.
  15. Where will he fit in ten Hag’s 4-2-3-1 then? The vision at the start of last season was Fernandes and Mount in twin No 8 roles in a 4-1-4-1 formation, with Casemiro as a defensive midfielder. They won 1-0 but a lack of control in midfield was a concern, with Wolves playing through them on numerous occasions. The next game Mount was stationed slightly deeper in a 2-0 away defeat against Tottenham. Mount’s game has never been about dropping deep and dictating possession. He has an excellent passing range but isn’t a defensive midfielder in a 4-2-3-1. He excels in his off-the-ball work, whether that is pressing the opposition or finding space to add a different attacking dimension. His game is about finding space further forward with perceptive, perfectly-timed runs. If they can find a role for him I think he Will be excellent next season.
  16. Aye, let’s hope you can get 500k for him next summer then. Would be a great deal for you guys.
