Grandad was French and came over from Marseille in the 50’s to find work. Settled in Newcastle for 6 years before moving to Manchester when he got a promotion. He used to go to SJP every week though when he lived in the toon and never stopped supporting them. My mum and dad died when I was 4 so he and my Nan raised me - I never had a chance to support the teams my mates were supporting when I had that little toon mad Frenchman indoctrinating us. Miss him everyday and my support for the toon is my link to him that will never be broken.

LFEE = Luke “fucking egghead” Edwards. I’ve got you sussed sir.
-
We’ve been so wasteful with set pieces it’s untrue. We could keep having corners until Xmas and fuck all would come of them.
-
He’s missing this
-
Wilson off soon please. Nowhere near as sharp as he was before the World Cup.
-
And this guys is why we need to invest in this window. Who comes on for Bruno now??
-
Joelinton doesn’t seem at the races today. Head elsewhere?
-
Need to fucking wake up here

Fuck me I hate Edwards. Never the first with any transfer scoop but always the first to pull his little knob out to try and piss on the bonfire. Cunt.
-
I think we’ll sign the players we need to regardless of age. Look at trippier.
-
Fuck me that would make me moist. Be some midfield we’d have with him in it.
-
Hope he takes his punishment on the chin and learns from his mistake.

One of those days need a goal soon. Little worried about Miggys goals drying up though. -

Concentration gone in the last 5 mins. -
I’m 99% confident the Moukoko links are his agents trying to get Dortmund to up their contract offer. I’m also confident that 99% of the links with us will be exactly that from now on.

I think we’ve got to. That second string midfield was cat shit last night. There’s a reason they all got hoyed off.

Sheffield Wednesday 2-1 Newcastle United (07/01/2023)

I’d argue that Isak isn’t a natural goalscorer. His stats don’t say that anyway. 1 in 4 at best. Can’t wait for Wilson to get back. -
Oh god he was dross tonight. Like really really bad. Touch, awareness, general pace and positioning - all fucking shite. Dead wood.

100% this. Hopefully the bigwigs don’t rest on their laurels and this gives them a jolt. -

We were sloppy. No two ways about it. That second string of players is woeful. Only one who gets a pass is Isak because of the length of time he’s been out. The rest of the lads who started were shite, Botman included - hard as it is to say. It’s now there for all to see if we don’t invest properly in this window. A couple of key injuries and we’ll have to rely on Jamal Lewis, Matt Ritchie and Chris Wood - I’m sorry but that would be disastrous. A rare fuck up but a painful one to have to swallow. Wednesday are shit, Windass had the game of his life but we basically fed him all game. -
I’ll be watching with a load of Wednesday fans and they said the same about Smith. I think Bannan is a big miss for you though and whilst we don’t have the best record against Wednesday in recent history I think we’ve enough in the squad to make light work of this. Saint-Maximin in particular I think will be well up for this game.

He’ll start. The usual front three need a bit of a rest and this is the perfect game for him to stake a claim again.
