  1. Well shag my arse this is good isn’t it. I still worry about the quality of our bench compared to theirs though. We keep running like this and we’ll be fucked in another 15 mins.
  2. I'd piss myself laughing if Miggy had the game of his life today. Shut that thick brummy hermaphrodite up.
  3. That bench of ours is absolutely fucking tragic like. It's the fine margins sometimes that sees you through and I wouldn't trust a good 3/4's of that bench to bring something when we need em.
  4. All the bravado and confidence that fuels you asking the fittest bird in the bar back to yours only to have her explode in laughter as you trudge back to your mates with your belly leading the way over your feet. not speaking from experience of course? I think we’ll be lucky not to be on the receiving end of a bit of a tonking today. Not because of any failure on our prep or performance so far, more to do with them being in an another footballing galaxy to us entirely.

    João Pedro

I genuinely cannot get my head around people who thrive from attention via lying on Twitter. Just very bizarre behaviour. Probs coz I’m just that bit past the social media generation. And I also don’t get how people keeping going back to twats on there who have been rumbled for their bullshit more than once for more “inside info”. As a species I sometimes think we are well and truly deserving of the asteroid that fucks us from the face of the earth.
  6. https://www.footballinsider247.com/newcastle-united-critics-lambasted-by-kieran-maguire-amid-750m-news/?utm_medium=Social&utm_source=Facebook&fbclid=IwAR379s8Vy4S0pOdvPUKY1SFkS7ZL_joND1vqqHhmuuKH1ecwUYlb_i30GXc#Echobox=1660831118 Forgive me if im late to the party on this but I never knew the PIF had provided capital to Boelhys group to fund his takeover. I wonder if that means we’ll have a bit of preferential treatment when it comes to loan deals etc.
  7. Use 12ft ladder to read the unchanged version.
  8. 40m + add ons I’ve read somewhere. but ok - the point still stands that money is clearly there.
  9. I believe we have as much as an individual deal requires. At the moment we need to level up to stature of a club that spends £40-60m on a marquee player. In the next 5 or so years though the sky will be the limit. We didn’t just find the £50m for Bruno down the back of the sofa did we? The chance was there to sign an immense player for what still is a reasonable fee given his talent and potential l - so we did. I think it’ll be the same for any other player Howe and the DoF deem “necessary”.
  10. I think if the club wanted him then he’d be here now, simple as that. Apart from that the only link to us I can is that we have signed his mate. It’s a position that isn’t a priority for us atm - we are in desperate need of some quality at RW and some competition for Wilson.
  11. 4 true faith contributors on the board. Jesus Christ. Always a bit wary of groups like this. Agree with us or you’re not a true fan type shite. It’s fucking silly. The total lack of any sort of direct action or organised protest against Ashley during the bleak years will always stick in my throat too.
  12. I think Dan Ashtons arrival has well and truly plugged some holes in terms of what was getting said to the local press pack about potential transfers and targets. So if the lads who actually do this job for a living have next to zero info that there’s absolutely fucking no chance that Sean the plumber from Wallsend or Dan the estate agent from Gosforth have the inside scoop. I think they’ve learnt a lot from the Ekitike debacle about playing things out in full view.
  13. My river has dried up. Any help, stuck at work and can’t find anything anywhere?
  14. 1-1 or a sneaky Brighton win. They looked really good against Man U. Well drilled, great passing side. It will difficult to break them down.
  15. Sorry to be a miserable twat but let’s try and remember that all this has been fired up again because of a Graeme Bailey tweet. has Paqueta ever been mentioned by a semi reliable journo?
  16. I thought Willock was very very good on Saturday. Never stopped running, and looked really really comfortable in that midfield. Keep him there for Brighton.
  17. In terms of competition for Paqueta, I think he chooses us over West Ham for the Bruno factor plus high wages and ambition etc. If city want him though they get him unfortunately. Everything in place, legendary manager and again, astronomical wages.
  18. “Eddies flithy rich mags” fuck me our fan base is thick as whale spunk at times??
  19. Still holding out hope for a pretty big name deal on the last day of the window ala Bruno. We deffo need another striker, if Forest can park the bus pretty effectively then we don’t have a chance when a much better team decide to do it.

    Joelinton

For me he looks like Olympiakos Yaya Toure - the year before he joined Monaco. Powerful, direct and accomplished on the ball but yet to really find his “killer ball” or “shooting boots”. If anything though that makes me all the more excited. I’d say wor Joe has a much better attitude and similar potential to Yaya Toure - he can only get better.
  21. Imho this one’s dead in the water. They ain’t selling to a potential rival.
  22. That midfield of Joelinton, Bruno and Maddison is definitely top 8 level. Maddison takes us to the next level. My god this is all very very exciting.
  23. I’m still in utter disbelief that we are actually in a position to be bidding £40m for a player of Maddison’s calibre. What an exciting time to be a toon fan lads.
