Another way of looking at it would be that the people with season tickets currently are those that are likely to be in this new stadium if everything goes to shit and lots of others stop bothering/boycott again. And you can look at Spurs to see what a grim prospect that is
-
Yeah, I just would try and find a way to do it without involving the club
-
Caulkin talked about getting the season ticket of his late stepfather (I think). Mentioned working with somebody helpful at the club who sorted it. Obviously you imagine he has the type of contacts inside the place to make doing that a doddle.
-
Annoying that we’ve had a month, during which time our form has dipped, instead of the usual two weeks. Slight things like that always seem to go against us, though most fans probably think that about their own club.
-
They should just say that when they advertise then.
-
Did they let you change the seat?
-
They’ve ran some thing where you get to choose your seat in order of how long you have had your season ticket. Something like that.
-
Pretty sure that it doesn’t matter where you finish in the top eight.
-
The wait for a train outside of Brighton’s ground- and the fact that you’re not allowed to taxi it- is genuinely something that needs to be addressed by authorities. Thousands of people, every other week. Worst ground in the country.
-
It sounds like us trying to do an impression of their away support
-
How will they decide who the extra season ticket go to? Do we still have a waiting list?
-
He’s thrown a kettle over a pub. What have you done?
-
Is there any other fans forum where season ticket holders are actively loathed? It’s a bizarre trait of this place.
-
What pub, out of interest?

Was in basically the seat next to the Man Utd fans during that awful game they beat us 5-1 with Ronaldo rampant. At one point one I was catching eye contact with their fans in an attempt to form a human bond, reasoning that it might make them feel sorry for me and go a bit easier on the gloating.

Anywhere decent to watch this in Blackpool?
-
I can never quite work out where I am at with Sunderland. We’re obviously so much better and will be for lifetimes and the obvious thing is to hope for derbies and low point records in the premier league. At the same time, I welcome their every misfortune so I’m always hoping they get beat- even if it means desperately dull clubs like Burnley get promoted. ultimately, it’s so much better than when their losing in the playoffs to Lincoln was the high point of the season.

Pretty sure people who grew up watching football in the 70s or 80s mark the 90s as the point when football became shit. I have a vivid memory of The Mag bemoaning our atmosphere during probably our best best ever season (95-96). Thought the atmosphere was fine tonight. We’re an expectant crowd watching a good team. It is what it is.

The years before they made it an actual thing then

Liverpool look shit.
