I don't think Sunderland have ever been further away than this to the Premier League, even if they go up they will need a full team of players just to tread water in the Championship

That was Keith was it not ?

I'm pleased Willock knew which box

Who will Spurs go for I wonder, I can't see them going for an old manager but then again they won't risk a young up and coming fella with new ideas, someone on Twitter mentioned Southgate but is England a better job than Spurs ?, Rodgers potentially but he'll have a better team at Leicester so really that only leaves Dyche, Howe or Lampard, but if it was any of them why not put them in position now before the new season. I think Levy has made another huge error here just like he did with Redknapp and Poch.

Watching Watkins tonight just confirms my thoughts that Kane an Wilson should be our only strikers this summer

Could do with Atletico getting beat tonight.

TBF if one of my best mates took over Newcastle I wouldn't fall out with him because of how random strangers on a football forum would think

Did Rafa have a deal agreed to buy Wood ?

Derby and Stoke are very average championship teams and spending a lot on their teams, even if Sunderland go up through the playoffs it will take a monumental effort just to stay in the division with their current team.

If you listened to the three amigos on Friday night they said that Edward's is the mouthpiece for Masters and Co and he spreads their disinformation so I might be worth looking at what he tweets this week.

The point I was trying to make that was Ashley is selling cheap even in todays market, if he had invested even a small amount and grew the club he could have probably tripled or quadrupled in investment

You've lost me

Is that not the same figure?

Looking at all these stories this week of club valuations (Liverpool £3billion) and the amount of debt most of football is in and the crazy contract players like Haaland are asking for, £305 million for a debt free Newcastle United is an absolute fuckin bargain.

I'm probably just being paranoid but we got a lot of crap decision off the ref today

The amount of poor money men in positions at football clubs is staggering, Aston Villa are hemorrhaging money and are currently spending 97% of turnover on wages for a bang average team. Bad accountancy is the biggest threat to modern day football not the format of how its played.

TBF the fans of the top 6 have all universally said no to ESL, if a few people at the top continue to push for it then they need removing from their positions for the sake of their clubs. As for Perez saying football will die if the ESL doesn't happen then he is further from reality than I thought
