Think Kelly is a great signing. I feel Howe will use Kelly in a similar way to Burn. Can play LB in games where we need more physical presence or when Howe wants the LB to take the left of a back 3 with our RB pushing on. And of course can cover for left side CB when needed. Versatility is so helpful while we are restricted heavily by PSR.

One thing that doesn’t make sense to me is why Berrada would be using an ineos email account while on gardening leave? Dan ashworth accidently forwarding an email is a small mistake (that could prove costly) but Berrada doing business talks on an Ineos email while still on gardening leave would be down right stupid wouldn’t it?

I mean more the amount of responsibility that is placed on Bruno in our system. Tonali couldn’t just slot in and do what Bruno does for us. I don’t think that’s a controversial take either and it’s not a slant on Tonali

Tonali definitely couldn’t replace Bruno in our current system. Maybe we could be functional with Tonali instead of Bruno but it would have to be a different system

Can’t blame Howe for hoping he could start his strikers for 3 games in a row without them getting injured. Maybe something to say about the club being willing to take the gamble on 2 injury prone players being our only strikers for the season?

Not saying I completely disagree with you but I think that when Howe had the option to manage Wilson and Isak’s minutes he did. When they were both available he would rotate them and manage their minutes. The unfortunate thing is that they haven’t been both available regularly enough so he was left with having to play the available one every game or not have a recognised striker on the pitch.
