  1. Back Tuesday 27th August. Will look forward to him immediately tearing it up at Rochdale away in the Carabao.
  2. This thread would only be about 100 pages if all the non related posts were removed. back on topic, anyone think a shorter ban that the expected 12 months may be in order based on his agents comments tonight?

    NUFC Transfer Rumours

Does Neto play on the right? I always thought he was a left winger
  4. Spreading payments has nothing to do with FFP
  5. If he does get a ban, which feels inevitable now, we need to make the most of it. Make sure his English is brilliant for when he returns, make sure he watches hours and hours of footage to familiarise himself with our style. Then when he returns he will be raring to go

    St James' Park

80ft? Is that a significant amount in regards to an East Stand extension?

    Nick Pope

To be fair I think this discussion on Pope has been very respectful and plenty of valid points about his weaknesses - not everything has to be super positive or extremely negative, there is room in between for constructive discussion, although I admit it doesn’t happen often on here
  8. Have to remember though if all those teams continue to do better then some of the points they get will have to come from the teams at the top - it might mean that less points will be enough if all of the top 8/9 are taking points off each other
  9. All fair points, also part of the reason why I think we will still end up signing an out and out 6 long term, so they can form the 3 with the 2 CBs and both full backs push on. Can’t imagine we have signed Hall and Livramento for one of them to play the burn role.
  10. Okay so one attacking contribution means nothing ‘not positive’ can be said? To be clear I’m not having a go at Burn. And I’m not singling him out based on one occasion. I’m saying I think Isaks reaction was based on regular occurrences over time where he has lacked support. I also appreciate if we played Hall/Targett we would lose some defensive steel that Burn brings, but this is the Isak thread and I’m talking about Isaks frustration in the first half today. It’s not like I’ve into the Burn thread calling him shite.
  11. It comes from Burns lack of attacking in general, but in this particular instance there was no overlapping run you would expect from a full back. He wasn’t the only one in this example, but it’s a safe assumption that he would prefer Targett or Hall at LB
  12. There was a point in the first half he came deep, got the ball and charged forward, and was clearly angry that no one had made a run ahead of him. I get the impression he really doesn’t like playing with Burn
  13. Is he in the Italy squad? Be ideal for us if he wasn’t but imagine he is

    St James' Park

They paid a billion just to settle the issue to even buy us

    Match Atmosphere

Atmosphere sounded incredible on TV - however hated the ‘enjoy the game’ more than ever. Nobody needs telling to enjoy the game and once the players are out the tunnel, there is really no need for him to say anything.

    Dan Burn

    Gotta give him credit tonight
  17. This guy is taking us to the very top I swear to god
  18. Absolutely brilliant tonight, the graft he did was unbelievable
  19. Seen his videos a few times, wish I had as much time on my hands as he does. Mind you, even if I did I’d make better use of it.
  20. Agree with what’s been said, definitely an 8 and not a 6. what’s also not ideal is that he needs time to settle and form links with team mates but keeps being moved around. Last week it was left of midfield, then as a 6, now back to the right. feel like he needs a solid run in one position to really kick on.
