2 goes so far, 14 highest - some surprising capacities.

  3. I’d rather keep Lascelles than get Maguire
  4. Craig Hope saying Howe has been told he has £75m to spend this summer
  5. Allegedly so, if I recall it was all done on the Monday but official confirmation didn’t come until the Friday

    St James' Park

Just so it didn’t seem like a brand new stadium I guess, for those who don’t want to move it might be quite nice to retain similar features

    St James' Park

Leazes park I’d be happy with, it would barely class as moving in terms of location. Seems the best solution for all, near enough the same spot but more seats Edit: would be pretty neat if they did it in a similar design to the current stadium though so it wasn’t obviously different from the outside
  8. Even though we are richer than anyone now the super league can still get fucked, terrible idea
  9. Would Dom S not play the inverted winger on the left if we signed him?
  10. https://twitter.com/pif_en/status/1665711868676022272?s=46&t=V2wv_sDmp20-elneeiPmQg As part of today’s announcement of the Sports Clubs Investment and Privatization Project, four Saudi clubs – Al Ittihad, Al Ahli, Al Nassr, and Al Hilal – have been transformed into companies, each of which is owned by #PIF and non-profit foundations for each club.
  11. Walker peters would be good backup, can play both sides
  12. Think they are Euros qualifiers and they usually do the group stage draw around Xmas if I’m not mistaken

    St James' Park

Interesting. They have recently partnered up with IMG (I think it’s them) and are making lots of changes to try and improve attendances/viewership etc

Not heard that mate, where to?

    St James' Park

They do, it’s more a case of scrapping magic weekend altogether, as opposed to taking it elsewhere. competition restructure means it might not fit the league schedule any more.
  16. It’s so important when he does get replaced that his replacement has similar ball playing skills (if possible), his long passes are incredible and set up many chances/goals as that compilation shows
  17. Take Kane out of that Spurs side and they are bang average. If I had the choice of our squad now or Spurs squad, id take ours no question.
  18. He was also unlucky at times such as the liverpool game he started and would have played most if not all of the match, but popes red card meant he came off after 20ish minutes
  19. My understanding of it, using your example above, is: free agent: transfer cost £0 wages £200,000pw yearly cost to FFP: 52x£200,000=£10,400,000 compared to £20m signing on £100,000pw: transfer cost £20,000,000 wages £100,000 yearly cost to FFP: £20,000,000/4 = £5,000,000 52x£100,000=£5,200,000 total = £10,200,000 pretty much identical costs, however the difference comes if we were to sell the player. If we sold them after 12 months it would be pure profit for the free agent, but not for the one we paid a fee for.

    Joe Willock

He really should have had 6-8 more goals this season, so many good chances he has blazed over the bar, if he can work on his finishing then he will be class, already very good
  21. To me the scale goes: Awful - Poor - average - good - great - world class I’d say Bruno is great and modric world class
  22. Pope Ashby Schar Botman Targett Joelinton Longstaff Murphy Gordon ASM Isak/Wilson give some of the others a run out without risking anyone. Would like to see miley and Anderson get decent minutes as a sub and would give isak and Wilson 45 mins each
  23. Brighton play villa last game so any goal in that game affects both GD. Still unlikely but if Brighton ship a few to City it will make an interesting game next weekend
  24. He really nailed it last night. Seen multiple observations so won’t claim as my own, but Trippier barely got forward from what I can remember, Botman seemed to be pressing higher than normal, I remember seeing him in central midfield at one point, and 2nd half especially we were very keen to let the young CB have the ball, Wilson barely left Dunk alone. Really impressive but also to the players for successfully doing it.
