  1. Miggy was still shite last year and then all of a sudden in pre season, benfica away he was massively improved and he carried that into the season. let’s judge Gordon after a pre season, as others have already said.
  2. He looks scared to make a mistake to me. It’s not out of the question that he’s aware a lot of fans are on his back online/social media and he’s terrified of trying something that doesn’t come off which would only increase the negative comments.
  3. Leicester have had no PL keeper all season after not replacing Kasper and their defence is awful, not sure how that is Maddison’s fault. For Maddison to put in the numbers he has this season is that team tells you what quality he has. also all this talk of ‘i don’t think he can press’ is nonsense, you can only judge him off what you see but if that’s not Leicesters style of play then obviously you won’t have seen him do it before. I’m sure he’s capable.
  4. The problem with set pieces is that apart from Lascelles, none of other CBs or tall players seem to attack the ball, it feels like they just stay quite stationary and try and get their head on it, they need to start deeper and actually run onto it, like Lascelles against Everton last year
  5. We only need 6 points really, Man U need 9 if Liverpool win all their games. I’m not too worried
  6. I understand people nerves and share them to an extent, however if I think about todays match in isolation I have full confidence that we won’t lose, and every chance we win.

    Match Atmosphere

All fair points. I retract my statement

    Match Atmosphere

Don’t know if it just didn’t translate watching on TV, but it sounded pretty flat on the most part today. I would have expected it be bouncing when we were 4/5-0 up
  9. Until today I have never really considered Leicester as serious relegation contenders, but that’s a really awful result today at home. Fear for them, although selfishly if it helps reduce the Maddison fee I’m all for it
  10. can see in this clip Ritchie talking to Gordon, no doubt giving him some words of wisdom.
  11. £50 million according to that. Let’s do it

    Joe Willock

Really impressed with him again last night and nice to see another assist, should have had a goal too. seems to be playing with a lot more confidence and think there is still more to come from him.
  13. I thought I’d read somewhere it was 10% not 25%
  14. Pope trippier schar Botman targett longstaff bruno Willock gordon isak ASM would be my team
  15. Thought he was good today. Was dreading it when I saw him in the team but felt he did well and is a lot more composed on the ball.
  16. I’m the opposite, it will get talked about probably today and tomorrow in the media, then it will die down over a weekend of football and disappear again for a few months
  17. Fortunately don’t you mean?
  18. Disagree with this, I actually thought he was better than expected when playing there. Broke up play consistently as usual and just found the simple pass. Sure a few passes may have gone astray but it was a 7/10 minimum
  19. I’d switch it up a bit for this, play similar to how we approached the liverpool game after popes red card (but will 11 men this time) have isak and ASM up top roaming freely a diamond of 4 CMs (J7 Bruno Longstaff Almiron) working hard off the ball and then the back 4 as usual.
  20. Can the lad has real quality, think we will see it more when we surround him with players of similar quality
  21. Think after watching us with 10 men on Saturday which was essentially a 432, I wouldn’t mind seeing a narrow 442 diamond. Pope Trippier Schar Botman Targett Bruno Longstaff Joelinton Gordon/willock Maximin Isak long term would see a new DM come in and bruno move higher up, but thought ASM and Isak linked up well and both drifted wide at times which would leave space for the AM to push on through the middle.
