Remember seeing that list of flight passengers on Twitter early AM on the 6th and thought it was most likely rubbish, but a niggling thought lingered that it was real and it seemed a bit too detailed to be fake. Then shortly after it came out on Twitter that the unknown passengers actually had links to the consortium and I was a bit giddy. Then when the bein news broke later that day it spiralled from there and it was mad. I think it felt so big and there was a whole range of emotions amplified, because of how long the saga had gone on for and so many twists and turns along the way. Can’t believe it’s been 12 months already.

Regarding Burn it’s been pointed out before I think but when he plays LB we essentially move to a 3 CB system in possession with Trippier almost RM/RW and Miggy in field. It really works well

If we did get in to Europe this season, I think our transfer strategy would change slightly in that rather than spend £100-150 million on 3/4 top class players, we may spread it over 7/8 decent players to build squad depth to allow us to compete Thursday/Sunday

If you look at the pre season contenders for that 7th spot it would look like Us Brighton Wolves Leicester West Ham Villa Aside from Brighton the rest have had poor starts. I think it will be between us and Brighton for 7th. If we are in contention come January we will spend to make it happen IMO

If we are close to the top 7 come January they will definitely invest to try and get a European spot
