Saw a couple of their fans moaning "where did the extra minute come from". But if I'm right, Bruno was leaping to head that ball bang on the 94th minute. They just can't hack the loss, buts its always hard to take losing in the last minute let alone the last second.
-
Burn or Joelinton for that job I reckon.

Plenty of time in the summer to give some facilities a much need revitalisation. Can't change everything overnight or even across a a few summer months but no doubt Howe had earmarked what need to be priority. Certain things will be done ASAP at the training ground once the season has ended I'd have thought.

Man City have a legitimate shout for a penalty if Jesus goes down there after that nudge from Van Dijk.
-
Dull game in all. Brighton have done well and Spurs have don't very little to deserve a goal.
-
I'm kind of expecting those type of new faces to come in once DOF is finally sorted. Hopefully Brighton and Newcastle can come to an agreement soon so he can get started ASAP on hiring scouts and setting up a team to do these deals in the summer.

Grey or Black Castore Newcastle Hoodie. (Like the one Jason Tindall wears on Match Days) £65 and very often on offer. Good quality stuff.

I think he'll be staying at Chelsea next season but I agree he would be a good target.

Anyone else think it's a ridiculous kit clash with Bournemouth and Middlesbrough! It's fine when you see the 2 close up but at a distance on the TV cameras it's not immediately obvious. I'm sure it's been mentioned before but colourblindness affects 1 in 12 men. And deuteranopia is the most common type and that is Red/Green colourblindness.

I'll be watching the Bournemouth v Middlesbrough game, KO at 3. Interested to see how Lloyd Kelly does. One of the many we've been linked with.
-
It's not the first time it's been said and it won't be last. No one would ever say we are going to be spending big money! It wouldn't be sensible for one, they want other clubs to be aware they won't be paying over the odds.
-
Dyche is so synonymous with Burnley it makes it hard to think what kind of manager they'll get in. Farke maybe? Woodgate perhaps? Allardyce would be too obvious surely?
-
Norwich maybe then. Don't see him being fully fit for Palace but I suppose he could play a small part if its right to do so. At least we aren't in desperation mode and don't need to rush him back.
-
Never thought I'd live to see the day. That's a stupid decision i think, but it'll put the shits up Everton. New manager bounce might do them some good and get Burnley a few wins.
-
Rangers 2 up now, Winning 2-1 on aggregate. Tavernier with both goals.
-
This Rangers game is decent! Rangers should've just gone 2 up.

Not enough to win the Premier League no, because we are way behind Liverpool and Man City who will be winning it for the next few years. But I think there is a good possibility if everything goes as it should and the investment is there every summer that we can qualify for Champs League in 5 yrs. 150m this summer and then 3x100m for the next 3 summer windows would see the squad almost entirely overhauled. ?
-
150m seems like a reasonable amount considering everything. If rumours are to be believed we'd have spent well over that in Janury if certain bids of ours been accepted. 3 major signings alone (Paqueta/Nunez/Henderson) would see us over 100m so add to that a couple of youngsters and a experienced Prem player and you're over at 150m. Amanda stated what their aim was and if they want to achieve Champs League qualification and a Premier League title in 5 years they will have to spend roughly 100m every summer for the next 2/3 seasons.

Bruce and McClaren way down at the bottom in my ranking, either of them could go down as the worst, both for different reasons. Benitez and Hughton at the top for me, difficult to separate them for what they did. The fact that most people see these 2 as the best/their favourite manager given they both got us promoted is surely no coincidence. Pardew gets a special mention for what the team he managed actually achieved. How much he was responsible for that is for another discussion. The rest are a much of a muchness and in the grand scheme of things will barely get a mention in the history books (Shearer aside perhaps).
-
I can understand this, he's only contracted at Brentford till the summer if I belive correctly. So there would be no fee, he'd add a huge amount of Premier League experience and he's clearly still capable of performing at this level.
-
Premier Leage Table since Howe arrived. 20 games now so a good indication.

I do find it odd that some people will turn their nose up at Trossard yet suggest we go for a unproven kid from Forrest who hasn't even played a full season in the Championship. Trossard would be underwhelming but he's better than Murphy and Fraser.
-
You never seen The Dark Knight Rises?!
-
I agree, personally think he needs to get used to this new way of playing! He'll accept it sooner or later and if he doesn't then he isn't going to be here. Next season he should arguably have his best season with us, he'll have far more quality around him than he has ever had before. If he can't succeed in this new team than perhaps its time to think maybe he's only good when he's the big fish in the pond full of fish who are shit at football.
