  1. Most badly timed post of the night so far.
  2. Assuming this continues into the summer, I'm sure there would there be more than a few players looking to leave Chelsea.
  3. Burn would make most sense. Wood maybe? He's vice captain for New Zealand.
  4. Changed my mind about this one, can see it being high scoring. 3-3 or 2-3 perhaps.
  5. Good game so far, Madrid doing slightly better I'd say but PSG clearly so dangerous on the counter.
  6. I think that was the exact reasoning behind it. We "overpaid" for him to ensure we got him in quickly. It's not however overpaying if (when) we stay up considering the position we were in when he came in. Feels like the Almiron situation all over again. He's so desperate to score that he's overthinking it and perhaps doing alot more than he needs to do.
  7. Boubacar Kamara is now confirmed to be leaving on a free this summer. 100% should be trying to get him in ASAP.
  8. By the looks of it Salisu and Walker Peters are fit enough for the bench and therefore could both well start tomorrow.
  9. He does, but just one won't stop the haters. He's 7 games in now, the damage is done. Don't see him scoring more than 3 for the rest of the season. That being said, I like what he offers and him coming in has been a huge part of keeping us up, just a shame for him personally really.
  10. All very vague, but wouldn't be surprised if they were approached though. If that's the last anything had been mentioned about it (October 2021), then you'd assumed nothing has come of it. Either way, I'm sure it will happen eventually. Just a shame as I imagine this season (from start to finish) would make a hell of a documentary, especially with behind the scenes footage as they often do.
  11. Flicking through Prime Video at the moment and noticed there's alot of sports documentaries on there now. Quite a few football ones around as well. Obviously Spurs and Sunderland have had the two biggest ones but Leeds have one and Amazon are currently doing their "All Or Nothing" series on Arsenal this season . Anyone else surprised that we haven't heard about something like this for us? Would seem like an absolute no brainer, would provide a huge amount of publicity for the club and owners. Or is this to premature?
  12. Difficult to see us losing this. We've not been conceding many goal or shots against and both teams are in very good form. Draw seems the obvious bet but I think we'll get a 1-0 win.

    Dan Burn

Depends whether Howe wants to play 3 at the back next year. I think Botman will be a target regardless. A back 3 of Burn, Botman and Schar to start next season would be decent.
  14. He's a great keeper, won't hang around though to be a number 2 and that's fair enough! He could quite easily leave for a decent club abroad, probably Germany. We've been extremely lucky in the last 20 years with our 1st choice Keepers, they've all been above average and throughouly decent people as well. Given, Harper, Krul and Dubravka, that's not a bad bunch.
  15. I think alot of who we sign in the summer will depend massively on what formation Howe is looking at to move forward. If its 3 5 2 or 4 3 3 then some of the players we are looking at will differ and the amount of cover we'd want in certain positions would change. Interesting times ahead, the media are going to have their hands full start of the transfer window.
  16. Philips would be a great signing, as people have said alongside Bruno that would be a hell of a double 6 in midfield. Tielemans is another in the same kind of mold that I would love here. He's been rumoured to want to leave in the summer.
  17. I would absolutely have Rashford here, no doubt about it. Man Utd would want a decent amount for him, possibly somewhere between £80-£90m. Not sure he's worth that at this moment in his current form and what his stats are over the last 2 seasons. Would be a massive statement regardless of that though. Plus he is versatile to an extent, could play alongside Wilson/another striker up top in a 2 or either side in a 3.
  18. Never sacking him before they face us. Before the end of the season though.....perhaps.
  19. A draw would be good but a win is definitely possible. Going 9 unbeaten is the most important thing. Shame that Everton is after Chelsea as I can see they seem to be back in the mood.
  20. I'd have him here, would be a hell of a statement. Not because he's necessarily done that well in the last couple of years but because of his name and the fact he's at Man U.
  21. He often does say more than most about the previous manager. He's had a few post match interviews over the last few weeks due to goals scored or assists provided and has on every occasion stuck the knife into Bruce and his coaching team. Not by name obviously but quite clearly mentions how much better it is now than previously.
  22. Surprised Pep hasn't started Sterling, this game seems perfect for him running at the Man Utd defence.
  23. Amazes me that a club like Man U have McTominay and Wan Bissaka as first team players. They are utter crap both of them. Good goal from Sancho. Well finished.
