Good point. Gets forgotten about because he's in Germany and I definitely forgot about him. Few years younger than the other 3 as well. Exciting times.
-
Coming back from injury and only training for a day was always going to be tough going getting back into the swing of it. You'd hope he'd start against Southampton and be back on form because we'll need him for that game for sure.
-
I'd argue Aresnal have the two of the three most exciting young English talents right now, Saka and Smith-Rowe. Foden being the 3rd.
-
Shame Saka doesn't play for a mid table team, would love him here.
-
That's a good goal from Arsenal though
-
Watford doing alright so far. Deserve to be level. Hodgson has done a decent job with them it seems. Shame he didn't do a better job with England.
-
Wow! Special goal that is from Watford .
-
I don't think we will personally, but I'm glad we play them last day rather than Liverpool/Man City , just in case we do need to so
-
Need another 7/8 points. Would be ridiculous if we can't get that from 12 games. Especially with Everton, Norwich, Burnley and Palace still to play. Those 4 games are eminently winnable and we are more than capable of picking up points against any of Spurs, Wolves, Leicester and Arsenal.
-
Diaby yes, but not at 75m! That seems ridiculous, not sure if even spend 50m on him. I wouldn't want DCL at all, I think he's hugely overrated and would cost a fair wack.
-
I agree with the change needed. I haven't been calling for him to start but now is the time. Tired legs in the middle now. It need freshening up.
-
Good results for us in all games today. Would've perhaps rathered Brentford v Norwich was a draw but any time Norwich/Watford/Burnley lose its never a bad thing. Just need Watford to lose heavily tomorrow and the weekend will be perfect.
-
Need more goals! This is very early to have a 2 nil lead. Another goal and this lot are gone, Brighton have got no confidence that they can win anymore.
-
Disappointed Manq isn't starting but i suppose he is sticking to his word about rewarding players for performances/contributing to wins. Only conceded 1 goal in the last 3 games Krafth has played.
-
Not a bad game this one so far. Leicester haven't been great but the football from both teams has been decent. Would love Tielemans here next season. Him and Bruno as a double 6 in the middle would be fantastic.
-
Manq plays and Maxi has some games time I think we win this. 1-0 Wood.
-
What's the deal with FA Cup games in this round tonight? They go to ET and penalties or is it a replay?
-
Burnley to lose definitely. The longer any teams below us go without getting points the better. I know plenty of people are saying it doesn't matter what 'X' team does or we should be looking up not down but the fewer points those teams below us get the more relaxed I'll be.

Sissoko is the one I would liken him to. Definitely similar attributes and he was never great infront of goal.
-
Right I understand, so you're saying when we bring in another main striker, he and Wilson would then both become first choice. That then leaves the new youngster and Wood as bench options. Only works ofcourse if we play 2 up top but it's definitely possible. Also all depends on form and injury etc. I do think Wilson would benefit from not being the only striker, in terms of not being over worked and therfore more prone to injury.
-
Not sure we can afford to buy only one new striker. Wilson gets injured to often to be relied upon for an entire season. Definitely agree with the other post that we need 2 new strikers, one big signing and a youngster (18-21yrs old). If Howe decides to play 2 up top then the 4 strikers will all get plenty of game time.

Who else think Burn intentionally stands next to Fraser whenever possible. He knows what he's doing!!
-
If he's deemed good enough and has the right attitude I don't see why anyone would turn their nose up at him. He been consistent throughout his career. Can't just buy 20yr old wonderkids and expect the world immediately, we've got to grow. Bringng in experienced players like him in various positions had huge benefits. Did you also disagree with the signing of 31 year old Kieran Trippier?

Watching Monaco Vs Reims at the moment. Unfortunately Ekitike is injured so need isn't playing. However, Ben Yedder is still looking the part. I'd be happy to see him here in the summer. Not sure how much he'd cost but he's 31 and would come with huge pedigree.
