  1. Spurs winning now. Doherty 1-0
  2. Spurs have started well. Need them to win this, so ofcourse they won't.
  3. The day is here! This is a game we should be winning. Been a while since I've been genuinely confident and that worries me.
  4. 100% would want him. Has an English/Premier Leage tax so wouldn't be cheap. But him and Botman would make an excellent pairing.
  5. All 3 of those tipped to get new contracts won't he playing a huge amount of league football next season I don't think. Next season they will add depth and experience into a squad that will be made up of alot of players from abroad who have never played in the Premier League. They'll get alot of minutes in Cup competitions and if we are in dire need Die to injuries.
  6. Bloody Foreigner, coming over here trying to show us what love is.

At this point perhaps he's just hoping if he stays in management long enough his dog awful antiquated principles and tactics might just come back into fashion.
  8. Yes, but he will be off to somewhere playing Champions League I would think.
  9. He's not going to be starring too many leage games next season you'd hope. Keeping players like him and Schar will give decent squad depth and allow us to compete in Cup competitions.
  10. It does make sense in a roundabout way. If we deny Brentford any points rather than 1 point it drags them into the fight even more. This isn't my argument though, I'd much rather have 4 points than 3 regardless of who they are taken from.
  11. Obviously taking 3 points is never better than taking 4 points but I think what they are saying is taking 3 points away from Brentford is better for us than taking 3 points away from Brighton. Either way, 6 points from the next 2 is what Howe will be targeting and seeing how Brighton did against Burley its entirely possible.
  12. Hopefully Fraser is fully fit by Saturday. He's been a big part of our system and he's one of the few who do look like scoring. Would be a big miss if both him and ASM are out of this.
  13. Didnt we already know all that? More importantly, when does he start?
  14. 5 points off 11th with games in hand over those in 13th and 14th. I think anyone from Crystal Palace down are in danger of being dragged into it. Arguably Aston Villa are only a point above them and are on a really bad run so depending how their next few games go they could get dragged in also. Brentford is a huge game because it will scare the life out of all those teams above us if we get a win as suddenly Newcastle who were doomed to relegation only a couple months ago will be above them in the table .
  15. Just seen his Instagram story and I'm slightly confused about why he's in the gym in full kit? Surely thats not a usual occurrence?
  16. It's obvious to all that Shelvey is the worst of the 3 so that's not even up for debate that if Bruno had to replace someone it would be Shelvey. However that's not the situation we are in, Howe wants to keep the team as settled as possible and Shelvery for all his flaws has had a decent run of games and he knows the system, the players he's playing with and the league far better than Bruno does. Team will be the same for this one other than hopefully if Manquillo and ASM are back then obviously they come in.
  17. Norwich were certain for the drop before Dean Smith came in. Watford have been in danger all season and until their 3 nil win yesterday I was sure Burnley were going down. Right now though I'd say Norwich, Watford and Brentford.
  18. If i could choose, I'd rather Manquillo be fit for this one. Krafth was so poor and he saw ALOT of the ball. Manquillo would make so much better use of it and can actually produce a decent cross. I think we can beat Brentford without ASM even though I do believe ASM excels in these games against opposition low on confidence. But I just don't want Krafth to be in the team.
  19. Not sure how you can equate him scoring 1 goal in 4 matches is him single handedly getting them 5 points. If Wood had scored 1 goal I'm his 5 games here would you say he was solely responsible for us picking up 11 points in those games? The time has gone for us to be worrying about Burnley. Those 3 can fight amongst themselves for who finishes top of the relegation places.
  20. Dawson and Zouma are two of the most aerially dominant CBs in the league. He was always going to struggle. I agree he was poor yesterday and ideally you would've had someone who had pace to run in behind West Ham but unfortunately we don't have that luxury to pick and choose a different striker for different games. The last few games of the season will be very interesting if Wilson gets back into the squad.
  21. Barely got on the ball yesterday but that's alot to do with the fact that by the time he came on all out players were absolutely shot. No one was really trying to venture further than halfway and so he was just left to defend the wings. I agree he probably won't be here next season and I'll not be that bothered tbh. Doesn't seem to fit in with our team anymore, don't think he's technically good enough on the ball.

    Jacob Murphy

He did well yesterday in a game against opposition of much higher quality than we've played in the last 4 matches. West Ham had to take Fredericks off because Murphy was all over him. Give him a break, see how he does against Brentford and Brighton then we can make a better judgement. If we are lucky, ASM will be back for the Southampton game but until then Murphy is the best we have in that position.

    Joelinton

A couple of times yesterday he just took a little touch to knock it around and oncoming attacking player to get us out of trouble. When he was first playing in the middle he was doing that and I was assuming it was just luck but he clearly has the ability to do that and knows how to execute it. The problem he has now is this is the type of performance that is expected from him, there's a different kind of pressure than there was a year ago. Not sure there is a player in this team who I want to succeed more than him. I'd love to see him stay in the team next season and become even more of the perfect midfielder than he is now.
  24. Whoever said Spurs would beat City and then lose to Burnley is halfway there. Hope you put money on it.
