I think we have been a lot better than last season. Year ago we got results in games when we were totally shit and were about the same as now in December. We played 3-4 games without a striker, and our new players have been underperforming. We will be better in the 2nd half of the season. Enough to save Howe’s job? Dunno.

His style of play is not suited to this 4-5-1 at all. If we want to use him properly, we either A) need to have more of the ball B) have to press higher up. He is totally useless if he is pressing 2 CBs all alone and our wingers are 75 metres from opponent's goal.

I said when we were signing him, that he is just a runner and does not have enough technical ability. People were saying he is good and two footed and all that. He can improve, but he is just as expected. A sprinter who has very low football IQ. And we paid 55 million for this.
