Osula is not really doing even the basics right…
-
They are a mess. But some of the opponents have nothing to play for. Their away games are max 1 point though. So Forest game is huge. I think we will lose to Forest away though.
-
I dont think they go down. They win 1-2 games and that is enough.
-
Scoring and celebrating are not reasons for additional time. Excessive celebration yes, but not otherwise.

Well, he has history of it https://www.planetfootball.com/videos/watch-man-utds-harry-maguire-appears-to-elbow-jamaal-lascelles-var-ignores-ithttps://www.planetfootball.com/videos/watch-man-utds-harry-maguire-appears-to-elbow-jamaal-lascelles-var-ignores-it

So when Maguire elbows someone in the face, like he does in most matches, they are clear red cards also? edit. I don't think Burn's elbow was much different than what happens in most corners. In this case it was easy to pick because they weren't in the middle of players but standing there 1v1.
-
Don't think so. Handball shouts etc where correct IMO. Casemiro's tackle was a bit nasty so maybe yellow, but he also played the ball. I just think that because he got the red card wrong, players and crowd were shouting every decision. I think he should have just said to Ramsey that you are on a yellow, don't try trick me etc if he thought there was a dive. He lost the game there. First half stoppage was weird but there was a red card and a penalty during extra time. Didn't check how long the play was stopped though.

The problem also is that Shaw is 30 cm shorter. So when Burn raises his hand, his elbows are automatically "high". Maguire seemed to have his own rulebook also. Big guys get away with more fouls without yellows. I think Burn or Joelinton red card would have been harsh but fine, but also think Ramsey's red was a joke. apart from the the Ramsey incident, I don't think ref was that bad. There was not many nasty tackles and to be honest Trippier fooled him few times.. ( I mean he lost the control of the game, so he was bad, but bad in a way that someone benefited)

I dont think it was a dive. He didnt even shout for a penalty of anything.
-
Back to his best today. Absolutely bulldozed through their midfield.
-
Yea, that exactly is not rocket science. And he needs training about the movement in the box. He needs to bust his gut to get in the box after dropping deep. Wolt just doesnt look like natural goal scorer, but even then he has got ability to get 15 goals a season.
-
I know, but Osula was a total punt for 10 million. I don't think he is nowhere near good enough, so I dont give him rough ride. It's not his fault he is played in EPL when he is a Championship player at most. Elanga and Wolte have been poor. Barnes has been our best winger this season by a mile. Gordon thinks highly of himself, but keeps costing the team with his brainfarts and easy misses. A me-me-player in a teamsport.

Was our best player today along with Hall.
-
Canny? I thought he was nowhere to be seen again. He should be our major goal threat.
-
Yea I dont see how he fits in our system except 9 or in 4-4-1-1. His lack of pace means he will not play 9 in Howe’s team, at least with efficiency. in a game like this he could have been 9 the whole second half.
-
Today he reveived the ball way too deep. That isnt suited to him at all. He can clearly play combinations and small flicks around the area. Not shield the ball 50 metres from goal. he has lot to learn still though. Need to release quicker.
-
No point having a player like that if our players are unable to play that pass.
-
The problem was Everton had a very aggressive midfield and he isnt suited to that battle. When he moved to space between the lines, no one played the pass. Except Thiaw and that created a chance for Joelinton. He is along with Bruno our only player that can receive the ball between the lines on the half turn.
