He has rotated the team every match. City game is next and they need a result there aswell. -
If we could get Murphy back on a season long loan then sure But for me i wouldnt atm. Never really paid any attention to Minteh though.

Nah, they will rotate. -
Neither Barnes nor Gordon is to good to be fighting for a spot in one of the best teams in the Premier League.

Checked every Villa player to see how much they have played lately. Its quite impressive how much they have been able to rotate and still keep up the good results. Rogers, Tielemann and Konsa have all been playing nearly every minutes of their 6 games in 3 weeks though, its got to take its toll doesnt it? Especially since most of them have been hard fought and important games, not like the training exercises we have been having. -
This is what popped up for me. https://www.newcastleunited.com/en/news/kieran-trippier-signs-contract-extension Can see that most other sources says 2026 yeah..

Dont think so?
-
Aint no conversation to be had.
-
He might or might not fit in into the England squad. But to say he is not good enough for International football is silly imo.

Should be possible with 1-2 points if they win the rest. Dont think Forest and Chelsea will do well. -
One of the standout players atm for the one of the (if not the) most inform teams in the best league in the world. Not good enough for International football..
-
Yeah I doubt we had the "money" for that.
-
Perfect time to buy him this summer. Trust that Eddie knew what he was doing when to went to such lenghts to get him.
-
Dont think its fair to compare Murphy to Almiron. Jacob Murphy has been much more reliable over time. Almiron had like one or two months where everything he touched turned to gold.
-
We still need a RW, really dont like seeing either Gordon or Barnes in that position. But maybe we shouldnt focus on an established expensive signing and rather get an exiting young talent who doesnt expect to take his place in the first team ASAP.
-
Would love to have him for another year. Glad to have been wrong about his time being over.

We will win this and people here will finally stop worring about securing our CL spot and all the focus will be directed towards getting our first 2nd place in almost 30 years -
The Villa game comes at a perfect time. We havent had to keep the energy levels up to max for the whole game in the last 3 matches. Villa should have some tired players after playing twice a week for some time now. They have all the pressure on them to go out and attack and are very vulnerable to our counterattacks iirc.
-
Im not sure he should go to another PL club. Think maybe he needs some without having all that pressure on him. If he gets off to a bad start and the fans turn against him its hard to see him come back from that.
-
He was part of the group that turned shit around for us. So im thankful for his service here and no hard feelings from me even though i have been critical earlier. Clearly time to move on now and I hope he finds a club where he can fulfill his potential.
-
I dont want to underestimate Gordon either, he kinda carried us last year. But have been poor for quite some time now.
-
Not to be that guy, but kinda harsh to rob Guehi of his second goal for us this season.
-
We are going to pick and choose almost whoever we want arent we?
-
Blasphemy. Tonali is just as important tbh.
