Yeah I’m not sure Wood is worth 25 though, triggering the clause was just the easiest way of getting him. I know where you are coming from though, £50m for an elite CB who can do it for 5/6 years isn’t a lot of money.

£10m for a loan is nuts when he’s probably attainable for that on a transfer being so close to the end of his contract. I understand that the player might not want to come here permanently atm though and Howe isn’t keen on relegation clauses.

Salisu and/or Carlos, a LB, Bissouma, Lingard and maybe another striker would be some end to the window. Squad would be almost completely transformed.

Hes sort of playing this DM/QB role for Howe but with probably more emphasis on the DM, I thought he was great yesterday defending around our box. If he was physically more gifted/fit he'd be a level above in that role than where hes at right now.

Doubt Allis mentality but I think Howes man management style could be well suited for him

They give that as a pen but ASMs yesterday wasnt???

Also note how high Joelinton is on that graph and hes only played that role since Howe came in, given a full season he could be top on that.
