I’m not saying he’s ONLY good in transition, I said he is great in that role. He’s a decent player outside of that, and I advocated for signing him in summer ‘23. I don’t feel his attributes are best suited for us anymore though, and I think we could get more out of a different player. (Forest would also want big money for him now).

Not sure they felt like they needed to snatch at that deal and sell a first team mainstay mid season when they are chasing a European spot. You also need to consider their current PSR position, did they need to sell? And did he want to go? Two sides to this coin.
