  1. It's 10% for cup games I think
  2. This is what I reckon too. Having Burn at LB gives the extra height for set pieces, Hall is a solid defensive option and is comfortable on the ball, gives us a bit of control. Could allow Gordon a bit of freedom too.
  3. I'll be honest, that bottom one is fucking class
  4. That's even closer to the current site than I'd expected, assumed they would move up past all the trees
  5. PSR Headroom can play on the right. "Money to spend in the summer" can cover CB and "We could get better value from sponsorship in the future" could be Isak's backup.
  6. Perhaps we could just have a 24/7 livestream of each office? £14.99/month or £9.99 for Mags+ members
  7. There's been quite a lot of communication from the club in fairness. We've had one or two things at the Stack. Brad Miller has done some on the record stuff. Silverstone gives quotes every so often. Are people expecting weekly updates?
  8. Supposedly we could have spent in the summer (as we could now) but that would mean we'd have to make substantial sales before 30th June, which is the same hole we got ourselves in when we had to shift Anderson and Minteh.
  9. I don't think anyone is suggesting that a new ground automatically equals better atmosphere. You could build the most acoustically perfect cauldron on the planet but that guarantees nothing. What a new ground could provide is the chance to allow or indeed encourage like-minded fans to all be in the same area. "The Grumpy old Boomer Stand" or "Uncle Buzzcock's Stand Up and Gan Radge Stand"... The only way you're going to achieve that is by uprooting season ticket holders en masse - in theory there's nothing stopping the club doing that now but it's probably an easier sell if you're starting from scratch.
  10. Big long area with unreserved seating, food stations at each end with three carts serving different stuff. Food from them is free, drinks you have to pay for.
  11. He says in a reply that he's talking about a rebuild on the current site
  12. I'm very sceptical. He doesn't seem to actually know what the plans are but he's got a hold of a slightly wonky image and a tiny snippet of text? Plus that picture doesn't really show anything other than "We can't just extend L7 all the way round because all of this stuff is in the way". He seems to suggest a rebuild on the current site is what the picture is referring to but I don't see any evidence of that. I'm much more inclined to believe Hope that it's either extending the Gallowgate or rebuilding somewhere else.
  13. I thought the same. Between that and £90m for Mitoma I'm almost happy PSR is keeping a lid on things in NE1....
  14. I thought it was "early 2025"? Although I can't remember where I read that. "Early" could be anywhere from January to April tbf and would fit with Hope's "closer to the end of the season" line. I suppose every day between now and the end of the season is technically closer to the end of the season....
  15. I mean, there was a game not that long ago where the ref literally sent off the wrong person...
  16. I don't think they've released the top tier of the Gallowgate
  17. Tonali admitted it, that's the difference
  18. "GIMMIE A K...." "K!" "GIMMIE A....wait...what?"
  19. He's exactly the type of signing I liked us making, same as Trippier, Bruno, Botman. Anyone could have signed them, it's not as if we swooped in and blew everyone else's bids out of the water and put them on £300k/week. We scouted, we took a punt when others decided against, it paid off. Thanks to PSR we can't even do that now...
  20. Definitely. Going to Arsenal or someone like that isn't a sideways move as such but he's so good that he'll just be looking to step up another level after a couple of seasons there anyway. He'll not just go to a Champions League club, he'll go to a club realistically aiming to win the Champions League.
  21. That's exactly it. I don't think Saudia for example "sponsoring" our shirts for £50m is banned, it's just that they'll only allow us to use a fraction of that towards our PSR calculation.
  22. The cost of building it doesn't count towards our PSR expenses but if we happened to find a multi-million pound sponsor for it that would qualify as income...
  23. They could also already have £20m tied up in Le Fee and £12-15m in Frigan, plus whatever Isidor's clause is. That's just to keep the squad they have now. Even if they could spend another £70m would they have a squad capable of finishing above three others?
