If we're in the race then Bournemouth are too tbf.
-
We just look like we've got no defensive answer to them. And our attackers are knackered. We'll be lucky if this doesn't end 1-4.
-
Bournemouth fully deserve to be ahead. They're at us the instant we get the ball and they're rapid at progressing the ball forward. Not sure what else to say, we look bad because they're outplaying us. I think we'll still have chances but we need to be 100x more clinical, can't make lazy mistakes against these because they can exploit that easily.
-
Very poor this. Their press and capacity to break is killing us. Any sloppiness in attack or possession and they're in.
-
Our press isn't working at all here. Not sure what's going on but we're a step off where we need to be every time.

Love Bruno. Love him.

Diabolical start from us. Well deserved goal.

Yeah we were 12th for a couple of weeks before we starting smashing all comers

Better form than forest, better form than forest, na na na na. Starting to look tasty man.

What an odd match. We never looked great but we didn't have to. I think I'm just not used to us being able to win in 2nd gear. -

How the fuck are they just letting Gordon stand totally free on the penalty spot. I mean, thanks. But jeezo. We're gonna have to play a lot better to beat Bournemouth. -

We were playing oppressive, grinding football for a while towards the end of the half. Probing, quick recycling, constant pressure. Must be exhausting to play against. But we're just lacking a little spark when it comes to scoring. It's well balanced for the second half, hopefully we score in the first ten minutes. -

They're putting up a good defence here. We're well on top all things considered but we need to score again. -
He was crap for us. Happy to see him doing well. Other than that I don't think about him at all.

Lewis Miley: signs six-year contract extension (Official)

He looked very promising today, relaxed and with good awareness. Deserved an assist for the Osula through ball then scored immediately after, shows he's not getting too worked up over chances missed. Very impressive for an 18 year old just coming back into the team from injury. Would like to see more of him. -

So at least 4 prem teams will be out after this round, could make for an interesting tournament. -
Longstaff has stunk out the place. I usually don't think he's as bad as all that... today he is that bad.
-
Thought it was maybe a charity thing or designed by kids. Now i know it's not...it looks shite.

What's going on with the city shirt numbers? Are they always scrawled on like that?

The problem with replacing Moyes is that you need to get someone properly good in otherwise they'll not really do any better than him. He's a good but not elite manager, and there just aren't very many of them out there. But he's also not so good that people are averse to gambling on a new manager. I think Potter could be better than him, seems a smart appointment.

Martin Dúbravka (now playing for Burnley)

If we're getting nowt we should try to keep him until summer. He's done well the last few games and shown a glimpse of how useful a lively ball-playing keeper would be to this team. But if it's now or never for him I don't see how we can really stand in his way. What's so bad about the Greek fella? He looked fine playing for Greece when I watched him. If we keep playing like we have recently we don't really need our keeper to do anything except quickly recycle the ball to reset attacks! -
I'm always very impressed with how he speaks and conducts himself. He's great at highlighting contributions from other team members too, it's clear he thinks of himself as part of the group. Top lad.
-
God he's good. Great leader, works incredibly hard, big powerful bastard, relentless. You'd hate to play against him.

Is Arsenal's set piece magic as simple as taking absolutely forever over each corner in the hope the opposition loses concentration? Or is that just my ADHD showing.

I thought this! The foul was in the D and they were just allowed to line it up from the most advantageous position they could find. It's stuff like this that makes you think refs could be bent!
