Look at how Forest dealt with the MGW thing, that's what we need. Yasir needs to get on a plane, talk to Isak and his agent, and sort this out. Show some commitment and balls, tell Liverpool to get fu*ck3d! Then, get the transfers moving, sign some players. Calm the fans down, 'cause we're getting a bit fed up now.

Waiting for a @SUPERTOON embedded tweet.

Hugo Ekitike (not playing for Liverpool for a while)

Thats a joke account mate. Not to be believed at all. Also no way he earns that much at liverpool. More like 120k. -
Ever since Isak came on board, we've made the Champions League twice, been in two cup finals, and won one. We finished 4th, 7th, and 5th. We've turned him into one of the most feared strikers in the world. If you compare the team that finished 4th to the one that finished 5th, there's a massive improvement. I reckon people are overreacting a bit right now.

I bet his agent's in Saudi, chatting with the owners about a new contract, and all this is just a smokescreen. We don't have a DoF, so the owners have to sign off on everything. If his agent's actually in Saudi, and its not just Twitter nonsense, I'm guessing they're talking about a new deal. Well I hope anyway.

Good post, But, we also gotta remember that we probably wouldn't have gotten Bruno, Isak, Botman, and Tonali this summer if they were up for grabs. Our success with these guys has other clubs paying attention. That's what we're seeing in the market right now. I reckon most fans don't get it. Arsenal were after Bruno before we even got him. Liverpool wanted Isak, but Klopp went for Nunez, and Arsenal wanted him too. They probably would've gone for those guys this summer since we were interested. We're victims of our own success, basically. The transfer strategy's been the same, I reckon. It's just that the big clubs jump in when we make a move. JP and Ekitike are perfect examples. We'd have signed one of them, like, 2 or 3 summers ago, I reckon.

Alright, so we missed out on players around 22/23 yrs old because bigger clubs swooped in, but we're gonna pass on this guy who's got at least three good seasons left and scores pretty regularly because he won't make us any money back? Wissa and Isak up front probably gets us Champions League again next season. We gotta face it, younger players that good will probably get poached by richer teams. Pedro and Ekitike are proof. Watkins or Wissa would be great signings and help us with the financial rules since we'd likely qualify for the Champions League again with either of them and Isak. In two years they will likely be another 22 year old striker with huge potential we can go after. I will be absolutely buzzing if we get either wissa or Watkins. Excellent CFs with great stats and injury records.

Wissa would be a great signing, I think. He'd be the perfect replacement for Wilson. He's scored 45 EPL goals in the last four seasons. He'll easily get us 10+ goals. We could get three good seasons out of him as a backup striker. I'd be really happy if we got Wissa.

Yeah, but considering the other areas they need strengthening, it's probably not gonna happen that they get Isak this summer after signing Ekitike. Liverpool's moved on from Isak for this summer atleast I think. It's just us, the fans and social media, keeping that rumor going. All for clicks and likes, I guess. We'll see what happens this week, maybe they'll actually finish up the Ekitike deal, which everyone's saying is basically done. Or pivot back to Isak. I highly doubt they go for both.

Chelsea will demand about the same for Jackson now lol. -
Need another defender or two, yeah? They've got three senior center-backs right now, and they'll have to replace Diaz if they sell him. Plus, they wouldn't sign Ekitike if they could get Isak. It's one or the other for them. That wage bill is gonna be insane. If they get both and sign a CB plus a replacement for Diaz. I dont see that happening myself.

Any scenario involving selling Isak is a no from me. Seriously, we know that if Isak plays 30 games next season, he'll score at least 20 goals.

16k retweets and 95k likes, 27m views and 3 k comments. He's gonna keep going on about Liverpool wanting Isak, their dream target and waiting on Newcastle, just in case they change their minds. The door's closed for now, but who knows, right? That's just engagement farming, isn't it? How many times can a club say no, he's not for sale? Surely Liverpool won't string Ekitike along, waiting for Newcastle to change their minds?

Darwin's got 25 epl goals in 3 seasons for Liverpool, and we all know he misses easy chances, right? Not great for the EPL. Meanwhile, Wissa's bagged 38 for Brentfordw. Wissa's the perfect Wilson replacement and will get us 10+ goals. But, with us being linked to JP and then Ekitike, I get that it's a bit of a letdown to be linked with Wissa. Howe's a miracle worker, but I don't see him getting Nunez to fire as a striker, and let's not even mention his wages. Wissa's better, in my opinion.

Those players' clubs wanted to make a deal, but the big teams weren't at the table. Like with Isak, we tried early on, but the price was too high and the price then dropped closer to the end of the window. We're trying to snag some top young talent now, like JP and Ekitike, who Chelsea and Liverpool already had their eyes on. Same with Guehi. Howe said we're fishing in a small pond. So, it's not gonna be a walk in the park. Mbeumo to Man U, Gyökeres to Arsenal, that kinda thing. This is the big leagues now, and it's not easy to get a seat at the table.

The NUFC transfer rumors thread is back to its bedwetting best. Elanga kinda chilled things out, but we're all fired up again. Back to grilling the owners, board and transfer staff, hoping Amanda comes back, Mitchell was right, whats the scouts been doing and why aren't we going for these type of players, and all that jazz.
